I appreciate your concern for the snails. I've also relocated a few snails in my time. It feels a lot better than unnecessary destruction. (Accidentally hurting them doesn't impact karma, I'm pretty sure.) I did another litter pick today after being inspired again by your channel. The only interesting find was a tennis ball, which I kept and bounced along the way. I definitely need to remember to carry spare bags, because the one I had was about to burst by the end, the mess of which would have quickly blown across a busy road (so i know that feel ~ 43:50).

Good morning! I've done some litter picking in my neighborhood. The fact that I'm in an electric wheelchair and have my dog with me doesn't deter me. 🙂 I'm so happy to have found your channel. Your attitude inspires me. "The reward for our work is not what we get, but what we become." _____Paula Coelho I had a few questions. In your travels, what is the most abundant trash. Paper, glass, or cans? In your opinion, if something was found that either had been dropped or tossed, what was the saddest item you had to bin? They make a child seat wagon that attaches to the bicycle. Perhaps you could find a used one? Stay safe!
@chilli_pips7 ай бұрын
The most abundant trash I would say for me personally - plastic wrappers! After that beer cans (again, for me personally) // The saddest thing I have to bin is hard to answer because I don't really feel anything except if it's like an Animal, BUT 2 things come to mind! Finding a kid's lost mitten or bootie in the street, that's kinda sad lol and then when I'm clearing up an abandoned homeless encampment, that's always sad. Awful that people still have to live on the street
@casham62397 ай бұрын
@chilli_pips Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions. Yes, it seems here where I live, plastic wrappers, are the most abundant. (Virginia, USA) How well I remember those days searching for that mitten, sneaker, or boot!! "Where did it fall off!??!" Needing to purchase another set. I don't see an end to the homeless situation soon. I was once myself. All the best.

@chilli_pips7 ай бұрын
The residents and businesses don't close the gate. There's been meetings with the people there to close the gate, and they actually settled on paying more rent to pay for continuous clean up crews to take the fly-tipping away instead of just shutting a gate.

In a strange way, bottle tossers almost did you a favor by tossing in a shaded area, so you don't have to pick (roast) in a hot sunny area. *Also I think it would be perfectly okay if you had pocket branch cutters to cut a dozen branches so you could squeeze through. *Six bags well done and TV too! *You could write a book! Then one day God told me "But there is someone to do that, there's you!" I tried to find the song, but I couldn't.
