I love the banter on your hikes, the "The thorn in your foot. Well arguably that's me; the other thorn in your foot." And "there's a cactus over there, why don't you go headbutt that too." lines are hysterical.

I have a head that attracts pointy objects, and but have no hair to protect my skin. So I’m either bleeding from the head, or sporting several scabs, pretty much all the time. Somehow I took devilish joy in seeing you getting your hair stuck. Something I’ll never be able to do. Love your banter and positive outlook. You’re a real joy to watch a listen to. ❤

You passed a beautiful boat called Shemara as you dinghy'd ashore. It was once owned by Lord & Lady Docker in the 60s and has a very colourful history. It was left to rot in the mud in Southampton UK for years before the owner of a well known phone company purchased it and did a stunning job of bringing her back to life. Did I miss it, you mentioned you were going to say about your plans. Love following you, The Cordelians 🥰⛵

Another happy episode. With regards to the bit that fell off, all that I can advise is, "Go down to Joe Bloogs's junk and get a replacement piece." Because I've found in life if you don't fix it, it will break more when you don't need the hassle. Keep living your dream.

Khaira is so much fun. She’s so gung ho for whatever the challenge. And maybe it’s just me, but she seems likely to step in the mud or get her hair stuck in a thorn Bush. A bit of a good natured calamity, which is very endearing. A great match for Adam’s more calculated and controlled nature. I wonder if you two have ever crossed paths or communicate with Becca and Zach. Another similar aged couple with a KZbin channel, who saved up for a used single hull blue water sailboat, fixed it up mostly themselves and went sailing across the ocean to the Caribbean. You have so much in common.

Galleon Beach, where they used to careen ships was a dumping ground and burial place for slaves. In 2010 a hurricane exposed skeletons just a few feet below where sunbathers lie. I walked it a few years back and found a metatarsal. It was a hard place to live at in the day.

Can you purchase a new rub rail? A bar of brass of the correct size should not be too difficult to source, but one with the exact curvature night be only available from the manufacturer. Are their boat wreckers like car wreckers where you can pick up used parts? Probably not as many wrecks though. Well, after all that, I’m sure you will find a solution.

If I remember correctly, there was a sunset party once a week at Shirley Hights. One the far eastern end of the island there was a deep inlet that opened to a large bay. We anchored inside a reef that we shred with kite boarders. In side the bay were many anchorages, a very nice restaurant at a resort that had an art display by a local artist. We were the only boat in the bay.
