@@thereissomecoolstuff ha ha, I know, I'm just not around the shop when they are filming. Maybe at harvest Dad will film me riding the combine with him. 🙂 I didn't get to ride the Buds this spring because I was recovering from surgery. I'm so glad you have been encouraged by my family! What you said is so true. I have gone through years of debilitating health issues, which is why I am living back on the farm, so my family can take care of me. It has been very, very hard. But I am so deeply thankful for my family, and thanks to their loving care I have been able to weather these hard storms of physical suffering. ❤️ Families like this are a blessing from God.

We have a saying in South Africa in Afrikaans, "n Boer Maak 'N Plan" , translated to "a Farmer Makes A Plan", meaning, there is no obstacle that cant be overcome by a farmer and they will always come up with a solution to any problem with the bare minimum of resources. Well done Welker's, love watching you do your thing.

@@redneckcoder I have lived in the USA for 26 years and now a proud citizen, I immigrated the proper way... The similarities of what happened in SA vs what I started observing in 2019/20 is strikingly similar. Almost seems like the playbook was developed at the expense of South Africa and now being implemented at our expense. The most shocking, open borders, and that is exactly what brought SA to its knees over and above the intentional political agendas.

Thanks for another great video Welkers. It was interesting and informative and entertaining. Sorry about the oil pan on your new/used motor fitting into the new/used truck chassis. But sounds like turning the oil pan around fixed the problem. Happy for you all that will fix the situation. Redoing a motor and truck usually causes adjustments here and there I guess. Nice work Scott and Nick!!!!! Hang in there. Bob your mutant mower is quite the setup. You did a fantastic job of re-doing the deck of the mower to put it back to work. Nice job of cutting and measuring and welding the new top piece of the mower deck. Looks like it is back in service again. All of the Welker family have fantastic abilities at engineering and making equipment pieces from scratch. Some of the best work I have ever seen. My compliments to all of you. !!!!!!!!! Your crops are looking great. This is the year for good crops!!!!! Blessings to all of you. The Iowa farm boy. Steve

They probably did"nt ask you how to place an oilpan unther a Peterbilt. They better did. 😂 Uhm, the fields were starting colour so nice green. And did i hear Nick say he"s gone spray it all brown? Tss, boys and their toys. Well, stay well and be carefull with all that heavy stuff in the shop. Watch your arms/legs. Blessings!

Good thing that it was a relatively easy fix, years ago I had a little 4x4 SUV with the same problem, we repowered it from its original 1.8litre gasoline engine to a Nissan RD20 2litre diesel engine, it was a really tight fit one corner of the oil sump touched a frame cross member, I got the sump modified at an engineering shop and it looked fine when we installed it there seemed to be plenty of room, but it turned out that we didn't modify it quite enough and the sump touched and rubbed on the cross member when driving in certain off-road condition's, it wore or cracked a tiny little hole in the oil sump. Such a pain the engine had to be almost completely taken out to get the sump off and out.
