honestly from a lady's POV, that java (darkest brown) is AMAZING. Most black boots are too cold of a black for my liking. A warmer black is ideal. I'm super tempted to order some right now, even though I already have a different boot being made. patience is difficult!!

All of them speak to me, even the overdark brown. With some hard wear there is going to be amazing patina in each case. Will we see how they develop with use? That would be fantastic.

Gorgeous leathers! Walnut was "just" a more interesting dark brown while sunburst took pull-up to its extreme. The dark brown seems like a tasteful off-black. Would be VERY interested in seeing all three after a few months' wear!

The best black leather is super dark brown and the best brown leather is so brown it's almost black. So I hope you guys keep that one around. DS W&C is the nicest leather.

These are cool videos, but can you please make one video that shows each of the W&C leathers you offer, in detail, up close, lasted, and refer to them by them name you use on your website. I'm trying to order and i keep finding myself at a loss as to what these options actually are. What's Mojave, what's Java? What are the different latigo colors? What are the different bridle colors? What is the temper like on all of them? It's really frustrating having so many options without any real information on what they are.

It’s a Wickett and Craig tannery leather made exclusively for Nicks. It’s on the stiffer side compared to Horweens Chromexcel, but packed with even more oils and waxes, hence “double stuffed”. Probably one of the most character-y leather as it’s starts to patina on day one as soon as you lace up with the creases around your foot and ankle getting lighter. It’s good. Real good. Also expensive.
