Bronny is overrated depending on what you expect from him. If you're realistic and feel like his ceiling at best would be essentially Gary Payton II's, then you'd not feel let down by watching him develop. If you thought he was going to be an all-star or 6MOTY candidate or anything akin to that? Then yeah you've overrated him. Bronny hasn't shown "point guard skills" from high school to college to the NBA. He’s always had decent shooting ability but like every rookie he has to get used to NBA range and pace. His shot is hit or miss from NBA range and he needs to work on that. I’m confident he can develop in the G-League and make something of himself. Try to become a role player somewhere but it’s not promised. He’s not NBA ready right now but I’d be lying if I said he has no chance of having a decent career because the tools are there and the opportunities are gonna be there so he might as well take advantage
