One morning we found a lost wallet. It belonged to a tourist from Switzerland. We know because we found him the next morning walking the trail from Manarola. He had Swiss flag on his jersey, so we stopped and asked him his name. It was him , he was so happy he asked us to join him for lunch in the next town. Where he treated us to a beautiful lunch.

The scooter should be called Lulu (Leaw Leaw). I loved the sights and the music. My husband and I get up early every Sunday with our coffee and watch Sara and Luca on their adventures. We answer back as we raise our coffee cups, "good morning beautiful people". You are such a light in the dim times.

I visited here in 1995 with my two nephews as we toured Europe. It was one of the highlights of our trip. We stayed in a little apartment in Verrnaza and walked the trails from village to village and road the train back and forth. We partied with some locals till the wee hours of the morning in the village plaza. It was beautiful. This was before it became so popular with foreign tourists.

The yellow house at 22:54 may have been there for 500 years or more, that's what appeals to me about Italy. If not for WWII, Italy would still look like it did 1500 years ago. I love that. Another thing, driving on the right side of the road, like in the U.S., is very comforting when you live there. In England, you're ALWAYS on alert that you're turning wrong or making a driving mistake.
