Awesome you got a chance to ride in Knoxville. I just moved here in October and I love it, the AMBC doesn't mess around when they build trails. I have been working on getting Trailforks and MTB Project up to date so more people know about the epicness we have here at the moment. I've been filming some #YearRoundGetDown videos and have already released one for Party In The Woods and I'm working on two more. It a shame you didn't get to ride Ripcord since Shaggy just finished the rock and gravel crush armoring last week and it rips for sure. Great to see more YTer's making their way out the gems we have in eastern Tennessee. 🤘👊

I rode this area on a trip this past summer thru Missouri, Tennessee and Kentucky. I was riding by myself on a fairly wet day, my wife stayed in the truck and I was amazed at the wooden features and the rock paving.. it made for a great stop on a summer trip and I would return again. I was by my self in the woods and it was truly an amazing place after just pulling in off the highway. I started on the South Loop Trails and found my way to that Bridge from the other side. Thanks for bringing back that memory. :-)

Baker Creek is widely known to those around Eastern Tennessee, I'm in Chattanooga just started riding this year and want to get back there more often. That said we also have some new trails built by the same people who made Devil's Racetrack that opened a few months ago.
@bryanbowen41934 жыл бұрын
Baker Creek has been shut down for added renovations. They are adding a large pump track at the base of the mountain. AMBC has been busy making Knoxville a mountain biking destination. That Devil's racetrack was made using a grant won in a competition from Bell. The real gnarly stuff is at Winrock in Oliver Springs which is just west of Knoxville but Knoxville has a lot of trails to ride from paved greenways to singletracks to Baker Creek tracks so there's something for every level. Ijam's Nature center has some neat trails but my personal favorite was Dozer in the TWRA area.

The devils racetrack originally was almost proline worthy. Much bigger than barn burner, that’s why the ratings seems strange. Look for the videos with Sean Leader or other guys when it opened. Anybody up north looking for winter rides in this area should checkout Bailys or Windrock if you’re into DH. Both open year round.
