This is interesting as my WEs both were at about 17 rps, the 416 at 17 easily and the M4 around 15-17. However, after upgrades plus the obligatory blood, sweat and tears they are at 20 rps (not realistic unless we assume they are over gassed). I think either there is a lubrication problem here for the WE and GHK: have you tried white lithium grease on the bolt + upper receiver walls, in the buffer tube and down the groove of the charging handle (not to mention silicone on the nozzle guides and o ring of course). I have seen both cycle much higher in stock configuration. Great videos though.

Thanks for your suggestions! I use super lube grease on the BCG and trigger group. But to be honest, all of the WEs I've handled over time did not shoot as fast as the TM. I'll give it another shot with more lube as per your suggestions. I'm glad you liked the video and look forward to other helpful comments like this one from you!

@@GBBEnthusiast I'd say the issue here is the fitment of the MWS allows for smoother travel as per the design. The GHK is also as such due to the weak hammer spring and AR like replication of the hammer: smoother surface to surface. The WE has a super hard hammer spring and uses a roller hammer which makes the action really difficult when reciprocating. So I think rather than using grease that tends to be sticky my suggest will keep everything slippery but not sticky. So all metal on metal surfaces white lithium grease in the can sprayed sparingly. Final test: pull the charging handle and slowly release over the hammer contact point as the bolt returns this friction area, a design fault, should be minimized by the lithium grease. After this point though better get out the file and decrease the bump the hammer likes to dent on the BCG: will work on both stock and RA tech bolts.

@@nyarlothep This is amazing information! You definitely know what you're talking about when it comes to the internals of the systems. I'll give the white lithium grease a try as I didn't realize it would be sticky vs slippery and that's a valid point and may increase the cycle rate. I don't know if I would try your recommendation on filing because I don't want to mess anything up! Also, would the white lithium grease affect the rubber seals of either the mag or nozzle? Do you have any instructions for cleaning and lubricating the gun? Maybe you can create a guide/video on this topic since you sound very knowledgeable about it?

@@GBBEnthusiast Well it has been on my mind - but recently moved countries so my gear is locked away back home. But I think I can swing something thanks for the encouragement. Do not grease anything plastic only silicone grease for that again in a spray can if you can find it and always keep the inner barrel free of any lubrication along with the inside of the hopup rubber, the outside though can be wetted with silicone oil to help with air seal and life of the hopup. Pull out nozzle spray the oring then the nozzle guides. But I'll write all of this down soon enough and let you know.

@@nyarlothep Sounds great and my pleasure! I'll definitely keep in mind to only grease the metal parts and not the plastic. I look forward to hearing back from you in the future!

I think a video showing whether an upgraded WE M4 can kick as hard as a GHK would be a good idea. Lots of GHK/MWS comparisons out there but nobody really puts it up against the WE and I think despite the price gap, they're pretty comparable now that GHK quality has gone down so dramatically.
@GBBEnthusiast2 жыл бұрын
That's a good idea, how do you think we should measure the recoil? I have a scale so I can measure how much each bolt weighs, but I wouldn't know how we would measure the recoil. Out of the 3 guns, the WE definitely kicks the hardest. The GHK kick is alright but I don't find it as satisfying. The TM is the most snappy but it feels plasticky.

@@GBBEnthusiast I remember seeing an old video where they tested it by laying the guns on the floor and shooting them with pingpong balls against the stock to see how far they roll in response. There's probably a better way though. I would just trust your assessment honestly, but the scientific approach is always nice.

Dang that TM is consistent. For all the negatives about them feeling more like an airsoft gun than a replica, the performance is just head and shoulders above the rest. Totally understand why most of the GBBR youtubers have one. I ended up ordering a VFC SR16 because I couldn't find any reason to believe GHK has gotten their shit together. Hopefully bunnyworkshop doesn't take forever to ship it out. Let me know if there's anything you wanna know/see about it, I'll be happy to return the favor.
@GBBEnthusiast2 жыл бұрын
Yes sir, I definitely do feel like the TM is more like a toy than the other guns, but it can take real steel grips and stocks so that's good enough for me. Sounds great, that you chose the VFC! I wish I could get my hands on a VFC, I'm just a bit reluctant because I've always heard bad things about VFC GBBRs. Let me know how yours performs when you get it and if you run into any issues!

@@GBBEnthusiast Will do. I got a couple of their newer BCM mags that are supposedly revised so I can compare them with what comes stock. May also have to upgrade the hopup to their new system that adjusts much more easily on the fly but we'll see how involved that process is. Didn't want the new whole BCM version of their M4 because I prefer the old school look. Trying to recreate the csgo M4A1-S lol

Hi, thanks for creating this content. I love comparison videos like these! I have a GHK M4 and MK18 and I wanted some tips from you on how I can get a consistent rate of fire for full auto mag dumps. Currently I have a stiff buffer spring but everything else is stock. What else should I replace to ensure that the ROF is consistent all the way to the last bb in the mag, and I don't experience any slowdown towards the end of the mag?
@GBBEnthusiast2 жыл бұрын
My pleasure, I'm glad you liked the video! If you want the ROF to be more consistent you can install a lightweight bolt and buffer. I actually have one that I got from Samoon and I can make a video on that. From my experience, most GBBRs usually chug along for the last 4-5 rounds if you are doing a full auto mag dump regardless of brand, just some more than others. If you don't want to buy additional parts, I guess you could try filling up the mag when it's cold (you could chill it in the freezer or after a full auto mag dump) and let the mags warm up in your pocket before shooting, so there's more gas in there. Let me know if you want me to make a video on this! You could also try doing the Devilhunter mod to convert your mags to CO2 but I haven't tried it and it seems relatively expensive if you have multiple mags. You'll have to pay for the valves x how many mags you have, buy a CO2 tank to fill from, and deal with CO2. I haven't had a good experience with any CO2 guns so I'm a bit hesitant.
@dhong992 жыл бұрын
Thanks for replying! Yes I did consider getting Samoon's high cycle and speed kit, up until I researched that having that lighter aluminum bolt would result in a lesser recoil - something I'm not really keen on compromising on since it's what makes GHK... a GHK. A video demonstrating that would be great! I'm actually looking to get a VFC high speed buffer but they're sold out everywhere. If I just had the stiffer spring + VFC speed buffer, would I be able to achieve the consistent ROF without the lighter aluminum bolt? Definitely would love you to make a video on this! There's not much information on this going around the web and watching these comparison videos are definitely very enlightening. Doing a DH mod might be overkill since I live in a tropical country and I don't struggle with cold weather, so I'll stick to just getting parts. Thanks for the suggestion anyway!

@@dhong99 My pleasure, any time! Definitely, if you want more recoil then don't get a lightweight buffer. I should have the video uploaded by next week because I have a few more in the queue. Thanks again for your comment!

bro tell me HOW the tm mws has so much morr gas efficiency than the mtr 16
@GBBEnthusiast2 жыл бұрын
That’s unusual since they use identical systems. If you want to get more gas in the mag try filling up the mag when it’s cold (ie. after shooting full auto) and make sure the propane tank/green gas can is warm. Once the mag is full of gas, wait for it to warm up to room temperature or keep it in your pocket until it warms up and you’ll be able to shoot more. Hope this helps and good luck!

@@GBBEnthusiast oh and im using 20 round magazines if that helped. im planning to get 2 35 round magazines but im still doing research about it if its a good idea. I saw in many youtube channels that the mtr 16 with the 35 round magazines cannot mag dump 2 times without refilling. can you help?
@GBBEnthusiast2 жыл бұрын
@@TealCrit Yes, the 20rd don’t hold nearly enough gas for 2 mag dumps since they’re so much smaller. The 35rd will be the all around better buy because they hold more BBs and gas so I would recommend going for those. I would not suggest mag dumping because it puts a lot more wear on your GBBR internals and most people use their GBBRs on semi anyway. Also, I find it’s best to top up mags after using them to ensure you’ll get through a full mag when you need it. If you’re dead set on getting more rounds, try filling when the mag is cold with warm propane tank/GG can and wait for the mag to warm up.
