23:00 You do sacrifice the no-longer-a-creature land when Grafted Wargear becomes unattached. Because the land is a creature "until end of turn", that continuous effect lasts until the cleanup step. During the cleanup step, the ability triggers, then will go on the stack. Then there will be another cleanup step.

You are correct for the wrong reason. It only kills the not-a-creature land because of oracle text. The current oracle text changes grafted wargear to replace "creature" with "permanent". At clean up, the thing that causes wargear to unequip is the land no longer being a creature, the game realizes "Wait a second, this isnt a creature that I am equipped to, this is an illegal board state", so it has to correct the game state by forcing grafted off of the creature land. At this point the game see's the manland as a land, not a creature, because the manlands game-state change resolving is what triggers the grafted to unequip. Grafted (if not for the oracle text), would then trigger "I just unequipped, you need to sacrifice the creature I was equipped to", except that creature doesn't exist any more, it only finds a land and therefor no actions are taken. This is why Oracle text changed it to check for permanents instead.

301.5. Some artifacts have the subtype "Equipment." An Equipment can be attached to a creature. It can't legally be attached to anything that isn't a creature. That's my reason. It's the same reason you said. My reasoning didn't rely on the old Oracle text (I didn't know there was even an errata)

at around 32:45 there is a missed trigger on Fireblade Charger that had a hypothetical influence on the game. Fireblade would have dealt 5 damage to Thoralf leaving him at 3 life with the life loss from dismember... Spoilers below: With normal game rules and Carl not drawing seven cards from Emrakul, Thoralf would have won the game at 2 life But with Carl drawing 7 cards from the "Wacky rules" from each Emrakul, Thoralf would have died to the non-metalcraft Galvanic blast later on. and proceeding to a game 3 Also, Grafted wargears updated oracle text from Commander legends says "When X gets unattached from *permanent*, sacrifice that permanent" This oracle change possible made to clarify land creatures. Meaning that land creatures becoming lands again would have to be sacrificed. Great video nonetheless! Always fun to watch.

Not a Judge, but the Grafted Wargear reads "Whenever Grafted Wargear becomes unattached from a permanent, sacrifice that permanent." - updated text and ruling via Commander Legends reprint of card. This means you would sacrifice any land, artifact, ect.. once it becomes unattached from no longer being a creature.

I commend your videos; they've kept me interested in the game and give me some faith that it's still playable. Got pretty turned off during Ikoria-Strixhaven period, Yorion was... Likely not healthy for Standard. But watching Modern format helped me to see that there are still relatively healthy environments to play and enjoy (anyone remember Melira-pod? Very sad I cannot enter the contest as I am not in Europe :( Good luck to everyone who enters! The next deck I want one of you to play is Modern Cat Tribal! It's so good! Main board artifact and enchantment destruction with Feline Sovereign. Their is even a cat stax piece with Leonin Arbiter. I also love playing Qasali Ambusher for when getting attacked, plus it gives you block against flying. The deck is as follows 3x Loam Lion 4x Sacred Cat 3x Aether Vial 2x Path to Exile 3x Adorned Pouncer 2x Leonin Arbiter 4x Fleecemane Lion 4x Qasali Amubusher 4x King of the Pride 4x Feline Sovereign 2x Kaheera, The Orphanguard 4x Collected Company Lands are pretty normal, 4 fetches and shocks, some Boseigu, Who Endures, Cavern of Souls, and some basics. I also have a couple of Gavony Township's for late game stuff. Sideboard is pretty meta, but of course I will companion another Kaheera, Lion Sash is always good (it's another cat), and something to protect the cats, like Snakeskin Veil. I also put in some Deafening Silences and even Mana Tithes. Honestly, if you play it, I would be super happy. Also, if anyone has anymore ideas, I would gladly hear them

Abrade can only destroy the artifact while it’s on the field, but once it is, it can be activated at instant speed in response to the abrade, sacrificing itself as the cost. Because Academy ruins and mindslaver are instant speed interactions, the combo is very hard to interact with.

Grafted wargear does say "sacrifice that permanent", so it doesn't matter that the Nexus isn't a creature when it becomes unattached. Blinkmoth Nexus is a permanent, and the wargear became unattached from it, so the Nexus gets sacrificed. Unless there's a card text errata for grafted wargear, all the rules text needed is on the card.

Because you cannot destroy the mind slaver until it's on the table. Then, when it has resolved, I do not have an open window to destroy it since Thoralf has priority on his turn. Thorald then has the ability to sacrifice it and activate its ability. By then it's too late, he's taking my turn already. I hope this clears it up :)

This is my current list: 4 Barkchannel Pathway 1 Boseiju, Who Endures 4 Botanical Sanctum 4 Breeding Pool 4 Courier's Briefcase 4 Elvish Mystic 4 Emry, Lurker of the Loch 2 Forest 1 Island 4 Karn, the Great Creator 4 Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy 4 Llanowar Elves 4 Moonsnare Prototype 4 Mox Amber 1 Otawara, Soaring City 3 Paradox Engine 1 Retraction Helix 2 Springleaf Drum 3 The Reality Chip 2 Yavimaya Coast SIDEBOARD: 1 Aetherflux Reservoir 1 Ancestral Statue 3 Blink of an Eye 2 Malevolent Hermit 1 Paradox Engine 2 Shapers' Sanctuary 1 Skysovereign, Consul Flagship 1 Springleaf Drum 1 The Reality Chip 1 Tormod's Crypt 1 Unlicensed Hearse Essentially you want to do the paradox engine thing to generate a ton of mana and ideally combo off and get infinite mana with things like Emry + 2 Mox Amber or Emry, 2 dorks and a courier's briefcase. For outlets you can draw your deck if you go infinite with the briefcase and Kinnan also wins if you get infinite mana as you can infinitely activate him to get a Reality Chip and then cast your whole deck by resetting the top card with Kinnan whenever there is a land on top. Your outlet is using karn to get Aetherflux + Ancestral statue out of the sideboard.

We all flick our cards a lot :) it's a thing most competitive players do. But I have been making the music louder in videos lately so that's likely why you haven't been noticing it as much in recent videos

How does ordering from card market work? Do u get one package from cardmarket or a package from each individual seller?

You basically order at individual persons/ stores. Therefore you get a package from each of those individually.

32:53 when the FireBlade Charger dies it deals it damage to an target kinda weird it was missed haven't finished so idk if is big or not. also in that case he should respond when equip so he takes only 5 instead of the 9 he should have. Played this guy arena with the god equipment that returns him to hand so much fun
