To add to this, Giorgio Tsoukalos (the crazy hair guy from the memes) was a producer for 23 episodes of this series and is the co-founder of a pseudo-scientific “publication” called Legendary Times. It’s more akin to a magazine than any actual scientific journal, but most of the topics from the show are taken straight from articles in this magazine as are most of the guests (who are not actually educated professionals in their respective fields): Erich von Däniken, David Hatcher Childress, Peter Fiebag, Robert Bauval, and Luc Bürgin are shown in multiple episodes and all of them know ol’ Giorgio. They have questionable educational backgrounds at best.

Each species has different needs and roles in the environment and evolved to fit its environment best within their roles.” She went on to talk about camels ability to carry water as being more beneficial to the desert than standard horses and gazelles speed and agility to help outrun other gazelles in their herd and lions and such evolved to counter that by also being fast and stealthy. Good way to explain it looking back really. Like puzzle pieces with 100 ways to build it but the pieces that fit easiest get chosen instead of forcing it in when it doesn’t quite fit right.

@abithefallenhuman92110 ай бұрын
@@MrDylanm842here's the issue though, they aren't built in line with the stars. They were built where they could be, and sooner or later at least one star/constellation/planet will line up, and in most conspiracies, they seem to only mention them lining up with Greek constellations. On top of that, we know they built the pyramids (which is a bad term since each structure could have widely different purpose) as they learnt, since countless pyramids fell apart, such as the famed black pyramid Most of our modern ancestors knew one way or another how to sculpt rock and move rocks, you find structures made by ancient Wise-humans (homosapians) all over the world. The obsession things like Ancient Aliens have the pyramids (and similar structures in Africa and East Asia) is they do not believe non-white people could be smart enough to stack rocks (seriously, go through the episodes and count how many are about Europeans. An "Um Actually" moment here - Although there have been studies and research into teaching animals, especially primates, to communicate in a human langauge (mostly through sign) it is theorised that they cannot understand any "language" formally. What they can do replicate individual words and associate those words to actions and events, but that alone isn't enough to constitute language, for example they may know signing "apple please" will lead to them getting given an apple by their keeper, but that doesn't prove that they actually understand what "apple" or "please" mean individually, or that they formed a sentence from a bank of words rather than just mimicing or repeating what they have been shown. However it may be that in asking chimps to speak human language we are more or less asking fish to climb trees. Most animals are not capable of communicating using human languages, but it's not like humans are able to communicate in, or even identify, the animal equivalent(s) of "language" either. But the way that we learn and form language does set us apart from other animals. Whether or not it was gifted to us by ancient aliens is another matter!

"what they can do replicate individual words and associate those words to action and event" Isn't that what us humans do? We associate differnet words with event or action and that's why people all over the world would use different word to describe the same thing, event or whatever.
@kataklysmus74603 жыл бұрын
@@sometimesitrollidiotsonthe1798 it might seem like it but the way we interpret things differs greatly. like you know how people talk about poodles being able to read? what they can actually do is learn to recognize the shapes of words and interpret them as a command. that might seem like reading, but if you were to show a poodle a verbal command that they already know for the first time in written form, they wouldn't be able to /actually/ read it and do it. they can't learn to correlate symbols and sounds the way we do. you can read a word even if you've never seen it in your life (and that especially applies to writing systems that are more consistent than english), but a poodle simply can't

Regarding the Soviet experiment, from what I remember he basically wanted to create a species that could take over the work of common laborers, the idea being that yes, it would be basically just a slightly more intelligent ape but that was all you needed to free up actual humans from working in factories and railroads and so on, basically they were supposed to take over low-skill hard labor intensive jobs. Obviously this didn't work out and it was pretty messed up but it's interesting to think about an alternative Soviet Union where all hard labor is done by half-monkey people.

Do they think there was just an age were all the dinosaurs lived at the same times there was eras in the plant’s history’s and multiple eras of Dinos with multiple extinction events 3. The cave drawings it makes more sense that in the past humans saw Dino fossils in like cliffs and walls and then over time they were either destroyed by the people or by nature

The reason why most every Egyptian god and goddess had animal heads was because ancient Egyptians prescribed heavy religious significance to animals (particularly snakes, eagles, and scarab beetles). For example, Anubis - god of death and patron deity of the lost - has the head of a Jackal, a wild dog native to Northern Africa. Jackals are opportunistic carnivores. They were frequently spotted around dead bodies, and so were seen as a harbinger or manifestations of death. Same reason why crows and coyotes are often “the trickster” in Native American folklore. Because actual crows and coyotes like to steal shit and cause a ruckus.

Many social species other than hominids have _very_ complex languages. Orcas are able to coordinate intricate hunting strategies like bubble netting. Dolphins know they can get high off of pufferfish toxins. Elephants hold funerals for their dead, and will make a detour _every year_ to stop at a matriarch’s grave on their way to an ancestral watering hole, the knowledge of which has been passed down through numerous generations.

In the Old Testament, part of the backstory of Goliath is that some angels lusted over human women, and gave up their rightness with God to go down to the Earth to be with the women, and made this strange crossbreed of giant humans, and that's how people like Goliath came to be. If the people in this show were actually thinking, they could have tied the first two episodes together with that story.
