Animation student nerd time: The reason why towards the beginning of miles' journey is so glitchy is because he's animated at the standard 24 fps. You may notice the other spiderpeople are animated more fluidly, at 48 fps. This is because the animators decided to animate miles slower to symbolize miles' beginning as spiderman. Everyone else has had their journey and trials and error, and miles is still learning. So at the end, when miles takes that leap of fate, he's animated at 48 fps. I thought this was really cool, and is many of the reasons why I want to become an animator.

To be pedantic, it is animated at 24fps, and Miles is 12fps at the beginning. Hand animating in 48fps would suck lmao, WAY too much work. All shows & movies will normally be rendered in 24fps, as this is the minimum to define realistic motion. Any higher than that is for slow motion, but that doesn't matter for animated films, such as this one. Otherwise correct!

For some reason I was one of the people that hated the animation style, and I went to watch it in theater and still didn't like the style until Miles jumped of the building in the leap of faith scene.
