Being completely honest, I think this movie is just as enjoyable as Spider-Man 1. I don't think it's as well-made but the action scenes are just as good imo and the funny moments (including and especially the unintentionally funny) are absolutely hilarious. Also, the Birth of Sandman scene and Peter fighting off the symbiote are genuinely brilliant.
