This is one of those movies that doesn't even need a sequel. It ended with quite a twist. Instead of Remy becoming a chef at Gusteau's, he becomes head chef in his own restaurant under secrecy, still being able to live his dream. Ego finally gets to taste real quality food he's long forgotten about, Linguini finally got himself a job he's good at, Collette gets treated with the respect she deserves, and the rats don't have to go hungry and be afraid of poison, now that's an ending.

The bit at the start with little rats growing their own food...xD I would love to see that, and I mean hell...There are species of ANTS that literally bring back bits of leaf to their colony, store it in a specific area and colonize fungus as a food source! They also use this system to keep the colony clean and free of pests/mold. Below is a snippet from an article about leafcutter ants, via McGill University's office for science and society. Imagine if rats could learn to function in a similar way! 'Leafcutter ants use leaves as their fertilizer to grow their crop: fungus. They cultivate their fungal gardens by providing them with freshly cut leaves, protecting them from pests and molds, and clearing them of decayed material and garbage. In return, the fungus acts as a food source for the ants' larvae. The ants are so sensitive to the fungi’s needs that they can detect how they are responding to a certain food source and change accordingly. ' Science blurb over, this is still one of my favorite movies, moreso than some newer Disney movies.
