We Watched *Scream 3* For The First Time!!

John Milton, the horror director, was Roman's dad. He mentioned earlier that he took her to one of his parties. That creep had a strong infatuation for Maureen and when no one was looking, he raped her. The result of that rape is what led to Roman being conceived. Instead of raising Roman, Maureen gave him up for adoption since in her mind, Roman was a reminder of the man that raped her. The only problem with Maureen is that she never mentally recovered. She never got help because even when she married, she messed around with other guys like Cotton and Hank Loomis, Billy's dad. In a way, both John Milton and Maureen Prescott are kind of responsible for the events that led up to this moment.

Love this one, i dont care what people say, its very campy and has more humor for a reason they had to change the script so many times do to unfortunate circumstances due to Columbine, I think this had the best reveal for the killer it was a great plot twist

Angelina was scripted to be the second killer. The entire movie was filmed with that in mind. It was changed at the last minute. She was supposed to be a former classmate that was obsessed with Sidney. She was going to be Roman's lover. On a side note, I always find it interesting that Harvey Weinstein produced this film about a producer that had parties to rape women.

So this movie was originally going to be Stu being alive and orchestrating the whole thing from prison. Having high school students as his disciples. Then the tragic events of Columbine happened and they scrapped the idea and went with this. Made it more camp and toned down the kills (hence the stabbing in the back). Angelina was going to be Roman’s girlfriend and second killer, but scrapped that idea too last minute. Over the years, I also did change my mind about this movie. I’ve grown to love it. And it’s crazy how they talk about gross behavior of Hollywood in this movie. Produced by the Weinsteins. Crazy.

Scream 3 had a completely different plot. Originally, they were going to bring back Stu from the first movie, revealing that he was alive. Basically teaching young kids how to be killers. It was changed due to the school shooting that happened at that time. Also, this movie was supposed to have two killers. The second kill was going to be the actress that was playing Sydney’s character in the parody movies. Revealing that she was actually went to the same school as Syd and wanted her life. That motivation definitely went into her cousin in Scream 4.

In the last 18 months I saw (& immediately saved) The Assembly Cut of Scream 3, it is quite different especially the beginning with Cotton stuck in LA traffic, it's longer (prob why it was cut) & has Ghostface's voice instead of the fake voice & ends with the alternate/deleted scenes seen on the DVD/Bluray i.e Christina's death. The Assembly Cut also has more scenes in Sidneys home in the woods, a longer talk with Ghostface & small tiny scene of Ghostface preparing the voice modulator & Dewey being smart & brave!! In the final showdown instead of "accidentally" (causing the lights to go off for Sidney to hide from Roman) he PLANS IT to give Sidney a fighting chance!! Defiantly saying to Gale "He can't kill what he can't see!!" 🤯🥰👏 The Cut (at 2hrs 22secs) is very low quality (641mb file) black & white with watermarks & was immediately taken down by Paramount but for fans if you can find it still, it's an interesting & fascinating watch. I'm not having them on my back so don't ask me!! 😂 However if you put "Scream 3 Assembly Cut" into a youtube search you might smile 😉

Honestly, I understand that not everyone enjoys Scream 3. It's different from the other movies, Kevin Williamson didnt write it, so I get it. I personally like Scream 3 bc it's so campy, over the top, and has an awesome cast!! I think Parker Posey is hilarious. Anyway, I've watched several reactors who've said that Scream 3 was their favorite (so far). While others liked the movie but couldn't get passed Gale's bangs. 🤣 People have all kinds of rankings for the 6 movies. Basically, I've watched a lot of people react to the franchise on YT, and most really like it! I left a $2 super thanks bc I read a ton of comments from viewers who thought this was an odd reaction to post. Jane and Justin really seemed to dislike the movie. They complained about everything and even trashed some of the actors, as I've already pointed out, haha. I left a Super Thanks bc I've never seen a reaction like this. Ever. About any movie. I've seen a few reactors say, "This wasn't my cup of tea, but I'm sure someone out there liked it. Please leave a comment below about what you liked. " Ya know, something like that. The super thanks was given bc I was hoping they would actually read it. And I can spare $2. It didn't break my bank or anything. I hoped Jane and/or Justin would remember that most people who clicked on this video are fans of Scream. So, hating on it seems like a good way to lose potential and current subscribers. That's all. The fact that they replied the way they was weird/disappointing. It seems like they don't care about their viewers or hearing feedback. That's pretty sad for a lot of reasons. I'm not sure if that made sense. The short version is I could spare $2 and hoped Jane and Justin would care enough to read some feedback from a viewer. Instead, they blew it off, which is sad. 🤷‍♂️

@@Will_3000 Ah, got it! Yeah, I agree that the reactors were quite harsh and didn't really give the movie a fair chance, but to each their own I say. Scream 3 is my personal favorite, although I think people are put off by the movie having a different tone than the other films and of course the unrealistic premise of the voice changer. But the fact that it's so "out there" and over the top is what makes this one so much fun IMO. It has celebrity cameos, ghosts, futuristic voice-changing technology, explosions where the other films are closer to traditional slashers. Love it!

When i was younger number 3 was the easiest to watch lol, but as i got older i see why people thought it was more silly,or different than expected but i learned that Scream 3 was supposed to have Matthew Lillard guiding some teenager to carry out violent acts, but due to the real life tragedy of Columbine the producers/directors decided to take a different approach. Soooo why do I want you to react to the "Fear Street" movies? Jane would freak out I think xD Also more whacky but fun movies that can get a scare out of you: "Blair Witch Project" "Unfriended" "Friend request" •••••• Hope I got these two titles right cause my country has different titles for them but they're also in English so it is confusing. Bonus confusion: Both movies have a character named Laura. In one Laura is a girl who unalived herself *which is not a spoiler) and in the other the other Laura is our popular girl main character •••••• "The visit" (will make you see grandparents very differently haha) "The Babysitter" "Truth or Dare" "Sleepaway Camp" movies. "It follows" "Scary stories to tell in the dark" ________ "The strangers" movies "Mama" "Sinister" movies "Teaxas Chainsaw massacre" movies (Chassics haha) I have no idea if you have reacted to "Ready or Not" yet, but it is AMAZING. One of my fave ever horror movies and movies in general. It's so so fun and entertaing and our main character is badass. The same goes for "You're next" I can also recommend keeping the "Halloween" series up since they are very popular movies. "Gerald's Game" and "Orphan" would also be cool. If you want some Horror series (maybe on your other channel) : I beg and recommend you to watch "Haunting of Hill House" and "Haunting of Bly Manor". Amazing shows that I and many others love and wonderfully scary. Korean horror movies would be: "#Alive" "Train to Busan" "Squid Game" Was very popular idk if you heard of it A show: "All of us are dead"

growing up this was my least favorite easily of the trilogy at the time. As time has gone on, theres elements of it to appreciate but its still the weakest in the franchise to me. People who watched it live didnt love it because it felt like scooby doo scream. But to be clear there is no BAD scream movie. This is still solid either way. David Arquette is an amazing actor, period!! They even reference him being the fan favorite in their "meta way" to Gale in Scream VI. I was very careful with my words just now. I just wanna say, don't let Scream 3 ruin THE REST of the franchise for you. Scream 4 makes up for it... even though back in the day, Scream 4 wasn't given its proper appreciation. Let's just say, it was ahead of its time. Scream 3 is sorta bad because it was changed so much as things went. This is completely different compared to the very original idea of a cult being told what to do by Stu Macher (the 2nd killer who would have been revealed to have survived). I think this was changed due to Columbine or something. You're right about the voice modulator. Since it was taking place in Hollywood, the Entertainment Capital of the world, I think they should have went with having a killer that's also an incredible impersonationist.
