He very briefly mentions his old workplace going on strike, putting the pieces together we can deduce that he was let go or quit and got work as a valet but never recovered from seeing his coworkers beaten and killed over corporate profits. Definitely fits the theme of labor exploitation and all that

The tug-of-war game hits harder than the other games we've seen so far, because of course a bunch of people will die in those, but this is the first game where if you want to stay alive (and keep your team alive) you have to actively kill a whole team of other people.

6:49 I need to say, I'm Christian here and yes I agree, simply praying does not save or forgive you. Even God Himself agrees with that. Praying is simply the way we can talk to God, but He is not a genie and has His own will. More so, doing good works does not save or forgive you either because God has standards and we all fall short or AKA have sined. So it would have been impossible to be righteous before God if it wasn't for His amazing grace. God sent His son (which was Himself in human form) Jesus Christ to die in our place because the price for our sin is death. Not just physically, but eternally. Jesus Christ was perfect and enough because He was God and is infinite with life. So much so He rose from the dead and conquered death forever. So by placing your trust and faith in His gift of salvation TRUTHFULLY in your heart, you may be saved and that is the only way. Then afterwards because you have Jesus Christ within you, good works will follow because you should love Him. If that is not present I would speculate if you are in fact saved. So with that said, I would like to point out the so called "priest" in this episode does not follow God. His character anyway of course. Thank you for your time.
