It's actually true I believe he was part of the symbiote imperium, corrupted symbiotes that drain their hosts before moving on to the next but dispite Venom being corrupt it still wanted to find a true host and because of that it was an outcast. Venom was too "nice" to be part of the symbiote imperium but too corrupt to be part of the Agents of The Cosmos which is a group of benevolent symbiotes that protect the galaxy.

@kevinprzy4539 yes the dark god Knull existed in the void until the celestials appeared and started shaping the universe, feeling threatened Knull formed the first symbiote from his shadow into a sword and decapitated one of them before being banished deeper into the void. Within the void Knull refined the sword naming it All-Black the Necrosword and with it killed many gods until he was struck down, while the Necrosword was stolen from him it made him realize he could bond his shadows to other beings and thus the symbiote species was born. From there Knull and his symbiotes invaded entire worlds until they went to earth, Thor came down and severed Knull from his connection to the symbiote hivemind and the symbiotes experienced free will for the first time and turned on their creator, imprisoning him.

@kevinprzy4539 I believe all the celestials together banished him in one single unified strike and yes Gor's sword is the very first symbiote and is the reason why symbiotes are vulnerable to sound and fire. When Knull refined the sword he used the heat from the severed celestial head and a hammer, the intense heat and loud banging of the hammer against the sword painfully shaped it into a weapon fit to kill gods, the fear and pain of the intense heat and sound was passed down to the rest of the species. The symbiote species were ashamed of their past so they lied to the entire universe saying the prison for Knull is actually their homeworld known as Klyntar (which really means cage in their language and is the species they refered to themselves as) and that they are a benevolent species ment to find the most worthy warriors to become the Agents of The Cosmos. Those unworthy would corrupt the symbiotes bonded to them and they would be cut off from the hivemind and casted out from their homeworld. It's fine to ask questions I love answering them lol.

My favorite part of this movie is how well it handles the part of Venom that I enjoy most: the symbiote is a very dangerous and potentially powerful alien that has it’s own identity. That can be both awesome and horrifying.

Venom received such scathing venomous reviews that my wife and I almost didn't see it in theaters. We were pleasantly surprised. Same for Carnage. It received even more hate than Venom, but it was okay.

Well I didn't see anyone mention Venom's original origin so here goes... The Symbiote appeared in the Marvel Comic series Secret Wars. During this series Spiderman's costume ( and web shooters) took some serious damage. In the main alien base that the super heroes took refuge, Spiderman was told about a machine that can repair his costume. When he tired to find it he stumbled upon a machine that dropped a black ball into his hand, spreading over his body and giving him the Black and white costume. He was amazed that it could shape and form into whatever he thought and he could shoot webs with it again. Later after getting back to earth, he found out what it really was and even though more happened than what I'm saying, he eventually went to a bell tower ( like in SM3 ) and got it off. Also like the movie, Eddie Brock ended up getting the symbiote and became Venom. I forgot exactly how he was connected to Peter Parker but I believe he knew and hated him- so when the symbiote took him over Venom was created and they both hated Spiderman/ Peter Parker. If anyone can correct/refresh the last part please feel free...

The symbiote is supposed to be a "Nexus being", meaning it's present as a single entity with a "hive mind" in all of the Multiverses. Without spoiling, they touch on this subject just very briefly in future Sony/Marvel movies.

This Venom was also brought to life by Sony as Spider-Man 1-3 . The only difference is that this Venom was a newer film and was the main character of this film. Also Venom is Carnage’s father.

This isn't the Venom that I grew up on but it's pretty close and Carnage is Venom's son and yes he is a red version of him but stronger in every way. I do love this movie and Tom is amazing as Eddie as well. The idea is that Venom's people infect a host and kill them but Vemon actually bonded with Eddie in every way and so he decided to keep him around so to speak. This is an amazing movie and I enjoyed it very much when watching it in the theaters. The part where Eddie gets into the lobster tank in the resturant was all improvised by Tom himself so the actors reactions are real which is funny. Love Meichelle Williams an anactress so much and was glad to see they added She Venom to this one when it took over her for a bit before going back into Eddie again. Good reaction as always guys and glad you liked the movie. The Venom is Spiderman 3 was not him not in any way shape or form and that dissapointed me grately when watching it.

There’s no radiation with MRI machines. MRI stands for Magnetic Resonance Imaging so the MRI uses magnets to obtain the images. I’ve worked in MRI briefly and I don’t ever recall any high pitched noises like what was in this movie. The MRI is a very loud machine but i think it’s mainly from the magnets moving more so than a high pitched sound. I think they did that just for plot convenience. The only thing that the MRI does that might hurt venom is the radio waves the magnets help produce to obtain the images but I’ve never heard them come out high pitched like that.

I loved this move and I think the 2nd is even better. Great reaction! If you like Tom Hardy(I’m a big fan!) his self produced FX series “Taboo” is great, only one season so far but a second is coming. He also plays my favorite caricature in “Peaky Blinders”. He plays one the biggest “bassass’”, smartest I’ve see in a show, maybe a few caricatures on the “Fargo” series which is amazing!!! I can say enough if you haven’t seen Fargo, and LEGION(X-men) they are written/directed/storytelling by the best out there right now Noah Hawley. Plus they’re some incredible acting. Fargo’s 5th season will be out this fall winter. LEGION has 3 seasons. Both are show you could easily watch 4-5 times and still really enjoy them. Noah Hawley just got the rights to do anthology series (like he did with Fargo) based on the “”Aliens” movies which I can’t wait for. I’m not sure if the project got scarped but he was hired to direct start trek 4. The last director that could paint a story that felt like you were living it was Stanley Kubrick so high praise Cheers✌

symbioses is a form of biological science we don't know much about in real life...there is some that exists in plant life and ocean life but nothing like those creatures exists on our world... interesting bit of trivia; in the original comics there were five symbiotes: Black (Venom), Silver (Riot), Yellow (Scream, who is female), Green (Toxic, who was changed to Blue in the film). These four appeared in the first film...the fifth one escaped...you will see him in part II.

In spiderman 3. Black suited Spider-Man was depicted correctly. However, venom in the end scene was not. It should have been like this once the black suit left, Peter. As for why it worked that way in the comics... From a development standpoints, they were figuring out the black suit as they went along when it was first introduced... In terms of in universe Venom was most likely trying to be incognito With peter That said This is just way better.

Tom Hardy is definitely better than Topher Grace as Venom in my mind. He actually looks imposing. Also, I'm pretty sure the word symbiote is a derivative of the science term "symbiosis " which is a mutually beneficial partnership between two different creatures. Notable examples in nature are: A shark and a remora An oxpecker and a rhinoceros A buffalo bird and a bison A honeyguide and a honey badger A clown fish and a sea anemone
