Jon - love the vlogs mate. Stumbled onto them a few weeks ago and have been binge watching ever since. Especially love the "GOOD MORNING" in each and the adventures the three of you go on. I'm sure you've done your research already but just a word of warning about purchasing land in Lombok; villagers sell the same plot of land multiple times, there is almost no rule of law, one plot of land can sell for half the price of an identical plot of land adjacent simply because the buying tourist lacks knowledge of the property's value etc etc etc. There's plenty of info on the net so just do your homework.

Come on Jon, don't do these kind of massage. Your muscles will be ruptured by un professionals. Hope he is a professionally trained person to do that massage to relieve body back pain. Because in Indonesia and Thailand people call them as Massage experts but in real they are amateurs, they say so to attract tourists. Some times, they will rupture the blood line too. Please follow your procedure by visiting a doctor and get his advise on back recovery. When it comes to health there is no word as "No pain no gain". Please refrain from getting hard massage!!!

I know what they do to attract tourists. Even, I had such massages over there by trained professionals. People working in hotels or resorts ties their deal with un-professionals to get their commission(brokerage fee) and keep amateurs in business instead of keeping Well professionally trained one(just because he asks too much of money, which the greedy hotel or resort refuse to pay!!). Having watched the last couple of vlogs with the masseuse. I'm thinking maybe he using hitting your trigger points. That's what is so painful. My wife has Fibromyalgia and she has really bad trigger points that are associated with it. She gets massage treatments as well. But in between she uses, Voltaren Gel. She rubs it on the affected muscles and it helps tremendously. I recommend you try it Jon, I believe it will help you in between your massage treatments!

Voltaren Gel can have systemic effects and long term use can result in ulcers, kidney problems and skin rashes. In long term use of pain relief medication it is usually better to use acetaminophen, usually sold as Tylenol in the U.S. This is just a general advice.
