The guy saying it's a scam has the most enormous balls on Earth. My first job as a legal minor was for a call center and I got called into the boss office room for forgetting even ONE line in my script even though it was a "legitimate security customer service company". Call center work drilling is tough, illegal or not. I felt bad ever time I called up a customer and they were very old and didn't understand what was going on. I tried to not deviate too much from the script to not face termination, but you gotta flex a bit for older customers.

Technicly, we no longer need gift cards in the future anymore, the money can be transferred immidiately with no delay, or maybe pre selected date for birth day for example. Similar system to PayPal.

I pressed option 1 to speak to the “Amazon fraud team”, and asked the lady “why are you scamming people?” …. Her reply was “because you are stupid, that’s why” and she hung up!!! You mention coincidences and that's 100% a huge factor. I fell for one recently with an EDD scam. My week certifications were stuck on pending so I was no longer collecting unemployment until the EDD fixed it. I received a text message stating that there was an error with my EDD account and I needed to sign in following the link provided. I was so desperate that I clicked the link and filled everything out and realized what I had done, noticed all of the spelling errors, ect, and right after and changed all my passwords. It was a mix of coincidence that I would receive a message from the "EDD" after months of frozen unemployment payments and the desperation of running out of money that made me not think twice. Most people who fall for these scams do so because "Its a coincidence that I would be contacted by you, I just received an email!"

Present state government of west Bengal or rajasthan or Delhi or Jharkhand they give then a cut out of there income and instead they get protection from local police... Thats why local police even on complaint will do nothing.... As prime minister have applied GST all over India and abolished the VAT.... Now state government only applies VAT on petrol (gas)..... And state owned liquor stores.... But this is not enough for them..... Because the free funds these political parties do before voting come out of these scam centers..... Which in turns loots the money from outside..... You will never be successful in complete removal of this scam center business because..... They are indirectly sponsored by state government of that state (non BJP ruled state) you will rarely see these type of scams from BJP ruled state and if you see.... It would probably a lone wolf type of scam primary reasons for these successful business model is low number of low skill employment.... And hence a guy who just passed his 10th class can join these for income just by doing a short a week duration course... . . I would request you to do deep research.... He's exactly right. It's the coincidences that sometimes make these scammers seem legitimate. For example, the first time I ever received a scam Car Warranty call, was like a week after my cars Warranty had expired. I wanted to renew it! So when they called I was all gung-ho, but I started asking them questions, (don't let them ask you questions when they're the ones who called you), and I figured it out.

It would have been great if you could inform their friends and family about how they are scamming other. Then send voice records and maybe picture as a proof. They might not be afraid of police or cussing but once their social status is destroyed they will be forced to leave this line of work.

Seeing as I am a victim of a $12,000 professional scam, whenever I hear an Indian accent I get sick to my stomach. I am truly disgusted and horrified by the existence of such disgusting people.

Like 5 years ago or so I was getting calls from CRA cause of my income tax return wasn’t filed correctly. Hilariously enough CRA said they would call me back in an hour, and an hour later I got a Scam call from someone acting like CRA. They started the call quite normally, it was about the part where they asked for my address that I clicked in that it didn’t make sense. I couldn’t believe how stupid I was cause I hung up the actual CRA that tried calling me after that hour. I was so ashamed that I was a 24/25yrs old that almost fell for it. It’s just about the perfect timing at times. Which is fucked to think about.

Im from NL and get calls from thees indian guys i told him he was famous he got very interested so i told him to check out your and Jim brownings vids and he hang up. It felt like i knew the guy as i have looked at a lot of theese vids. The number was a german one so i called it back and a german guy came on he said he it was a private number but i recon he is in with the scammers somehow... Thanks guys for getting on theese scammers they should be punished

sometimes they "hack" known telephone numbers from companies too so this known number is what the victim gets to see on their phone screen. Example; in The Netherlands scammers were calling with a legit number from the bank and when victims did Google it they came on the site of the bank. I also got a scamcall from fake bitcoin investment and when I did call back it was a normal person from a normal company that picked up. Some of those companies call with VOIP so scammers "hack" their number by placing malicious software inside their network and then can call from India with their phone line (also this way the scammers don't pay any money while making the phone calls because the company they hack pays the VOIP phone line) and when ppl look up the number the scam has a higher chance of succeeding because it's a trustable number from a legit company.

It’s actually good to know some of the people from there are trying to help. I know some people from India here in America and they are some of the nicest people and it makes them really sad when I tell them 99% of scammers are from India.

I work at a call center for a hospital and we get scam calls all day. They constantly try to pry us for patient information so they can scam patients to get their money from medical supplies or insurance or social security numbers. We need someone like you in our back corner 😢
