If you have time, haven't been there and you are in the area, there's a life sized TARDIS right outside the Tube station of Earl's Court, as well as a great pub, the Blackbird, just a few steps away from it, where they have really great pies (and yes I'm basically projecting my longing to go back there onto you, I'm almost very sorry)! Good call on not getting the piercings!! I got both ears pierced when I traveled to Europe with Girl Guides (such rebellion!!) as a 16 year old. I slept *terribly* for the remaining two weeks of the trip, I couldn't sleep on either side without cupping my ear lobe with my hand!! And it was a PiTA to do the soaking/cleaning every day while sharing a bathroom with a dozen other teenage girls. Add holes when you're home:)

I'm a huge fan of Tim Hunkin's work and I'd completely forgotten Novelty Automation was in London (mostly because I thought I'd never get a chance to see it!) and, well, unexpected events led to me spending a day there today, so because of your vlog I was reminded of it and got to visit Novelty Automation in person (right after the V&A Museum, obviously 😁), and it was every bit as awesome as I expected. Oh my !!! you have found the world of Tim Hunkin !!!! He is brilliant. Long ago, perhaps before you were born, he and Rex Garrod produced a series for Channel 4 called the Secret Life of Machines. Have to agree with the comments that the medley was good...though Christmas before Halloween should be banned...but I am loving of the Halloween ^^ (tis my favorite). I'm glad you're having a good time and a chill time, too. Seeing friends on trips is awesome. I just moved and am working (slowly, compassionately) on unpacking and settling in. It is a process. Last time I moved, I was pretty much unpacked the next day. Taking 2 weeks to do the same now is...a bit frustrating, but when I try to push myself faster, I feel that it's no good. At any rate, I'll be glad to have my office (currently working at a coffee table in my bedroom) and sewing room (currently in totes and boxes) set back up (well, they're 'rooms' in my head, but actually parts of the living room, along with the library. the 'living room' is in the dining room since I don't eat at a table and rarely have anyone over for food).
