My take is that I don't care about voltage, I want a solidly built wheel that works well and is reliable. I had pre orders in for both the Sherman S and v13 and ended up cancelling the v13. The Sherman S has the ideal suspension design very solid build, and comfortable seated riding. It might not be a 60mph speed demon, or trail jumping monster, but it's an extremely good all around wheel that will handle anything and has a hell of a lot of range. Plus I only paid 3300usd for it, so that helps! 😉

The sherman S feels very nice, I still like the KS S22 more, it has a zippy feeling and is more nimble ---I dont care about distance as the 50 miles is fine and I dont like the big heavy wheels as I am not a guy that goes on 100 miles or 168 km . I never liked the size of the master pro or the new v13 ... I rides alot of trails and love jumping and if u are a sherman lover then this shermans S is FOR YOU. you can jump in the sherman and it is great on trails. Has more range than my beloved S22 so get it if you like a wheel with the mix of both distance and ability to jump. Cheers

Many reasons why the Sherman-S is going to be the best all-around advanced wheel coming out. It's going to sell like the Max did. Begode would be hard to beat if they could simply improve their quality of their products, but it's almost as if they refuse to do so.

You're absolutely right about Sherman-S changing people's perspective on wheels. I think Begode is going to lead the future of EUC with their counter-punch strategy since they have the fastest production, most powerful wheels, and make so many sales that all they have to do is wait for a wheel to drop before they make another one even better. I also think that the only reason Begode has so many wheels is because they assign a series of wheel to compete with an entire company. Ex. OG Sherman - Monster Pro, Commander Ex. Kingsong S22 - Master Ex. Inmotion V13 - Master Pro Ex. Sher-Max - Master (again) Begode gets hit in the wallet and swings back even harder with a new wheel. Sherman-S to Commander Pro. Now that means that the Master X is going to have even better performance than the Master Pro in 2023. When Begode strikes first, they usually fail, like with the EX20S & Abrams. Prediction: Similar to how the first phones weren't that capable, I believe that by 2026 there will be a 100 mph capable EUC. It will have features that don't exist yet on the market like a full motorcycle tire, better batteries, mostly seated riding, and lean assist.

First of all thank you so much for your comment makes sense what you said but that begode is going to lead the market I coundnt disagree more… I’ve done a video why begode is killing the EUC market: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l2W4YZKbpZegbZY

@@MADpack 😄You're welcome! Honestly, Begode build quality is trash. I broke my taillight 2x on my Master. The last crash was at 2 mph. I have to pay $50 for a $3 part. They have a winning sales strategy for now, and after watching your video, I agree. In quality and production frequency, I think Inmotion and Leaperkim will be the lead. In terms of performance, I do not know. As an American, I know we have EXTREMELY dangerous roads for bikes. Everything is a highway. Other countries have way better paths for pedestrians. If EUC companies keep catering to American demand then the leader will be whoever can provide the most performance. Begode design philosophy has been *bigger, heavier, faster* for some time now. After a certain point EUC "can" become like a motorcycle alternative if this trend continues. Weighing 300 lbs and going a little bit slower while also having options like the little mten3 & 4.

I've ordered a Sherman S and it is on the way (slowly) to me from China. If I was racing I might want a 134V wheel like the Begode Master, but I'm not racing. The fact is that I don't need more speed or power than what the Sherman S offers. I want decent power, speed & range and the Sherman S offers a good amount of each. I want low maintenance suspension that works well, it looks like the Sherman S is ahead of the rest here. There are wheels like the V13 or Begode Master Pro that have bigger wheels and are quite a bit heavier, that extra weight isn't what I want in my main wheel. I just want a solid performer that I can use as transport around the city and for exploring the environment around the country - the Sherman S fits the bill nicely from what I can tell.

I think this issue with this new Sherman S that Wrong way touched on was how many points there are that are modular. It seems that over time that wheel will have many failures and issues. Might be great now, but lets wait 6mths after it hits the community and see how they are holding up. Also yes its unfortunate that battery technology has progressed so slowly for the masses. Until battery tech becomes lighter, faster, and ability to resist voltage sag, companies like begged will just strap more batteries to their wheels to say they are the longest range wheels.

Youre right but, if you would ride both of them, same speed, acceleration etc. You will get more range out of 4800 than 3600 no matter what. You could drain it in similar distance if you will ride harder. Bigger battery = more energy, energy is converted into motion and heat, theres no other way around. Master pro doesnt seems to be giant cooking owen, it runs pretty chill. The only diference can be on controller but think about this, is the controller so broken that it waste 35-40 % of total energy? And doesnt even heat up faster than shermans controller? Motion or heat - no other way around

As i see you're always wrong :) Newer ever buy first batch wheels. Sherman S would be good, if it had: 1. pedal hangers different from battery covers, as if you broke it, you would need to change whole cover and its waaay not cheap. 2. A little sturdier trolley handle 3. Suspension just hanging there on the bottom, and if you lose battery covers geometry, you'll get grinding sound metal to metal.. some kinds on bearing rollers needed there.

Range on MasPro is blunted if you push it hard - just like any other wheel... if you ride like you do with other wheels, the range is much, much more. Pushed hard to 60mph(unverified), and MasPro will give you 60 miles. 160 if ridden normally, according to the AlienRides review. Marty Backe gets the most range he's ever gotten. Just like the top speed, the high voltage is there only if you need it. In the US, the EX30 has a high demand. Up till now, 134v is only used on torque wheels! It's like putting a Ferrari engine in a diesel truck... lol The C40 motor is a SPEED motor. So it is wound differently, will be faster, and won't tax the battery as much. The 134v system is insanely powerful in a C30 RS that was tested here- faster than anything else in production.

I appreciate your work, but all the reviewers seem to miss the one major problem with this wheel, it's not modular. As a new rider, I have already changed the wheel on my master 3 times. And it was relatively easy to do. It's extremely difficult to change the wheel on this EUC, making it far from ideal. That plus is only a 100 V. Pass.....

Hi Rico thank you for your comment and I add a different perspective people say that is hard to swap a tire on a InMotion v12 yes a lot of screws but easy work to do … so yes begode can be easier but that for me is not a game changer if is still a process that is easy going like the v12… plus the begode is 134v and battery runs so fast so is a past for me because it reduces my Liberty to do what I want since euc are my only way of transportation

I don't get the premise of this video. More volts does not mean less range. Don't look at volts, look at watts/hour. Compare batteries by watts/h. To propel you forward on any euc is about the same watts/hour unless there is a weight difference. So volts don't determine range, they determine the max power you can send down the same copper wires inside the motor. Amperage for these conductors is already at the max. Leaves one choice. You can shove as much power as you want by increasing voltage as long as you don't overheat the motor (80deg C and above and the magents are no longer magnets) etc
@MADpack
@MADpack Жыл бұрын

@beatnik1855
@beatnik1855 Жыл бұрын
@MADpack it absolutely does not make sense. Energy to move you forward x speed is roughly the same on any euc. If you are on a tiny euc the motor will be at its max or if you have a powerfull euc the motor won't be at its max but the same amount of energy is being used. I'm an electrical technician. Your explanation makes no sense. Watts is energy. Energy to move your mass from point a to point b DOESNT EVER CHANGE.

So I make you a question I have the v12HT and v12hs and the amount of range that I’m capable to take out of the 2 is a massive difference so is jus because of the tire having a more powerful motor makes no difference in consumption? If you go to 134V you won't have more range. umm you won't have less range either. It's the power available in Wh from your batteries which is the thing that is most significant in determining your range. Sure, if the motor is more powerful, the torque more available, and importantly you are using that, sure the range will be less. But for a given weight of wheel ridden in the same manner the ranges should not be a lot different (given the expertise in the manufacturer in writing their control software properly). The higher the voltage, the larger the motor, there may be some price to pay for efficiency, but that would be at the lower part of their operational envelope. Run a lower voltage, lower power motor at the top of its envelope along side a higher voltage more powerful machine, I would expect the more powerful machine to do better for a given capacity of battery. These things are all trade off's that had to be decided by the manufacturer, one thing inevitably trades off against another. Same thing when you make your choice to buy. What really throws a spanner into the works, is how well the manufacture pulled off the product given the choices they made.
@MADpack

I know that is normal they increase the voltage because they want to deliver more torque more power otherwise there will be no interest of making wheels of 134v

@@MADpack That's exactly why they do it. Of course the boards need components spec'ed for these higher voltages, the transients are bigger dV/dt, fets hate that, so are the potential current surges fets aren't keen on that either. The end of the day though 745.7W gives you 1hp whether you deliver it at 134V or 85V, it will only do the same amount of work.

@@MADpack I was buying ex WW2 radio gear when I was 13 years old. 41 years in Satellite Communications. Radio Amateur (M0RRX). Designed and built DC motor controllers using PWM and using their back emf, car electronic ignition systems, amplifiers, countless interfaces of one sort and another, all the Satcom work (a lot), still not qualified to put on a plug :-) (never did the pat testing (30mins tops) qualification. In respect to EUC's I read a lot of comments people make regarding motors, batteries, controllers, FET's. A surprising number are actually very knowledgeable on the subject, but errors or misunderstandings do creep in. You can always learn more on any subject, even one that you are very familiar with (me included). Electronics is something I'm passionate about, bit like EUC's really :-)

Ahah yeah I’m really not the most knowledgeable in electronics my reviews are more related with experience built construction does things they are channels that do that electronic part much better than me I always try is to deliver a very honest and without filters thoughts about a wheel :) hope that that is still valid for you and all the community

We were wrong about the veteran Sherman S that will not be interesting since it was only a 100v wheel I saw so many comments on that if it makes sense

All the points (while true and legitimate) presented as some kind of looser's cope. Is it the v13 that was the reason? Nahh, that's different weight and speed class of a wheel with the same price. Oh shi-

I get you… but I saw people saying is easy others saying that is hard… I saw people saying that to disassemble the v12 is hard but is my favourite wheel to do it because yes it have few screws but is so easy
