What I miss in evangelically inclined people is that they play too safe to be intellectually stimulating. They have a sect puppet aspect often (not always) because they are being disincentivized to explore their values. I would even go so far as to say that all new ideas arise from the chaos of sin, and that there is something necessary in exploring that in order to become a complete person, though I mostly refrain from it myself, it's just an observation.

Nice job putting the video together, I'm working through the book now. It's nice to hear someone, and don't take this with offense, that doesn't have the same level of oratory ability or depth of knowledge as Peterson wrestle with these ideas and work to explain them. It's interesting, I'm a deep admirer of Peterson and believe that he's tapping into something deep and real. However, I often find it difficult to communicate these thoughts to others without a similar background, i.e. years of listening to genesis/maps of meaning/personality lectures. I'm happy to see you doing it, keep it up!

meh, he is good but he is just too present. his message is the same as in 2020 but the guy keeps talking and repeating himself so its normal that you get full of him. imagine if you heard him 1/10th of the time or with 1/10th of the coverage? if in this case you still think he's lame, or simply you think that his ideas are just mediocre regardless of the delivery, then its probably the case that very few people or a very small % of intellectuals will be interesting to you

You need to read more Peterson, then. The only people who hate Peterson are the very people possessing the traits he talks about avoiding through self-improvement and autodidacticism.
