$3,000 ????? Holy Smokes ! I thought I went overboard with the $400+ Rowenta I bought based on Donna Jordan’s recommendation ! Also, I have an ironing board that is a 3 foot x 4 foot piece of marine grade plywood that Matt Jordan showed how to make. So much more real estate to iron with. Those smaller ironing boards are frustrating to me at best. When you’re ironing out yardage to cut for a new quilt top, those smaller ironing boards drive me nuts. To each his own.

That's awesome you made your own ironing board!💕

I have the $ to buy this ironing system but I also don’t like the ironing board. That is a deal breaker for me.

Thank you for the demonstration. I have heard of these, but never have seen a demonstration. I can know understand why people like them.

I have the lift, while expensive it works so much better than any other iron I have used. ❤

This is the first tutorial I have seen that I’m not crazy about. That is not a usual affordable piece of equipment. That iron cost more than most people’s sewing machine. I’m sure it’s perfect for those that can afford it, I always loved this site because of the fact your more “down to earth”. This was a tough one for me and honestly not my favorite.

I was watching this video with envy because I am in the UK and thought there was no possibility of me getting one of these irons. Then I realised that I had been researching them and they are sold in the UK. I love the 1980 version and the Germania version. They are on par with the operational benefits they both have, so it is deciding between my favourite colour combination of the 1980, black and gold, and the lovely multicolour version of the Germania. I have been looking at industrial irons too but one of the reasons for preferring the Laura ironing system is the large ironing surface. So, hopefully, I will be ordering one by the end of the year. But which one 🤔🤔🤔🤔 now that is the biggest decision.

Just a gimmick to justify thr ridiculous . Remember thr oliso? When they came out there were so many defective ones. People replaced them two or three times under warranty.

You always know it is really expensive when they don’t discuss the price!!😂 Also didn’t talk about the portable, least expensive one.

I'd love to have that for my quilting, however, that is out of my price range. I'm retired and can't afford it. 😢

My husband built a wonderful ironing center for me so the only LauraStar iron I could potentially be interested in is the portable unit you guys didn’t talk about. Is there somewhere else I could view a demo on that one?

Better off. Buying a cheap Black and Decker. Last a long time and cheap to replace. Those expensive irons always fail fairly quickly.

I really appreciate showing me what it does The demonstration was great, but I Cannot justify the price. Sorry guys. It's one thing I'll never buy. $3,000 for an iron and an ironing board. I just can't. I'm sure those people that will but I'm not one of them. I will stick with my cordless Panasonic. I love it

Ridiculous price for an iron. Good luck to NEVER going back to using your old irons. Most of us have to put food on the table and spending this much money on an iron is insane when we have families going without basic necessities such as food. Can I afford this, yes. Would I ever buy this, absolutely not. I feel for the folks that view this video who would love to have this, but just can't afford it. I say to them, you do not need a $3000 iron to quilt and don't let the Sew Yeah family convince you otherwise!
