Welcome to the building game!
Oh..and by the way...this is definitely a video that you'd want to watch the end of...just saying...

im a plumber and those saniflows have there place they work if you have no other option but the main thing is to install them correctly, that one there is incorrectly installed hence the issues they have been having the outlet is mean to go up then fall away usually in a larger size pipe. Main aim of the pump unit is to get it veritical toa point it can use gravity to run away.

Yes disappointed! At 505 of your video you can clearly see that it's a cavity built wall . So to reduce opening width you tooth out and extend to whatever you need just because the cavity is originally closed without dpc its your chance to achieve it use your brain 🤷 also wrong choice of lintels lintels over with no tray again use your brain 🤷 you wouldn't get away with that shit on my jobs asking for trouble .but that's upto you no need to guarantee your work, FYI you can have underfloor heating incorporated into timber joist a better option than filling 1.3m of void under again you wouldn't get away with that in my neck of the woods either due to settlement block and beam the best in that situation Regards Rich 👍

PMSL the technology has always been fine, the problem is wipes and sanity wear! If you want I'll send you a video of the result of a tampon or 4 in an industrial unit! Just thinking how are you coping with the thrust block forces on the 110mm pipework?

Wipes clog any drain. Evil things they are! At my first job the upstairs neighbours kept flushing wet wipes and flooded our office twice in a row.

Just remember to cut power to the macerator before you take the cover off. Plumber at my work forgot and it kicked on when he opened it. Painted a slurry silhouette of him on the wall. We never let him live it down.

A friend of mine did a similar thing, though not quite as bad. We DIY'ed a macerator install and he decided to test the new unit by pouring water and everything he had (including some iced tea that had gone mouldy in the bottle) down the sink. He poured and poured and poured... until the pump kicked in and all the water shot out in a 2 m fountain because we'd forgotten one of the jubilee clips on that rubber elbow that comes out of the unit. We both nearly died laughing!

good job again guys. Wondering why you couldn't put T beams and block with a screed floor down instead of filling the void?

That's a lot of work mate, plus we had the stuff to fill it with. But I like the idea, though.

Can I ask why do you need to fill the void once you’ve taken up the old floor? Love the vids by the way. Especially the end scene!

Cheers Steve! It's for the under floor heating, mate. We need to build the floor up so it can be concreted, insulated and then have the UFH installed. We'll explain better in the next video. Thank you for watching.
