I haven't seen him drive anything badly yet, I wouldn't bet against him in any form of racing to be honest. Look how well he did in the stadium trucks, the boats, the drift cars, and of course drag racing. The worst part is he is just doing it for fun, imagine if he dedicated himself to a single form. Garrett is one of those natural talents that was just born to race, and is one hell of a driver! He is a lot like very few others, I saw someone post about talking to Travis P, probably would be a great idea they are two peas in the same pod.

@@Wildturkey10121 The guy is incredibly talented, but stadium trucks is a very small sport with very small driver pool. Drag racing is 99% car and Garrett is a very average drifter... Rally driving is a completely different ball game. The pace and driver input is a million miles from anything Garrett's experienced. WRC is simply unattainable for anyone who isn't a top professional racing driver. Travis P finished no where in all the stages he raced in, even on the wealthiest team.

The difference between a great racer and a decent one; how you recover from a mistake. You see so many "good" racers do well in the odd race but lose their focus whenever they mess up, a great racer does well even after making a mistake. Cleeter has that, he keeps his head clear and focuses on the next stretch of track. Way to go Cleet!🦅

I believe regularly going nearly 200mph in a quarter mile to be a valuable tool in developing ol' Cleets reflexes and "speed vision" ( where things slow down for you) He also has no mechanical sympathy for a race car (or boat) so his foot finds the floor easily and often.... I agree completely!!! Not a lot of people know Cleetus was a very accomplished Karter and a young phenom in the sport from a young age . I raced shifter karts from 7 years old up and it’s an amazing jump start into motor sports that defiantly would transfer into this sport but like Robby Gordon said about Cleetus “every Motorsport he tries, he succeeds immidiately,..that’s a rare god given talent. He said Cleetus does everything , but if he wanted to professionally get into Baja Trophy Truck series, Indy, Top Fuel drag racing , NASCAR , Rally , Drift Series or any top tier professional driving, he has the natural talent to get into the big leagues. He said “he “beat” me in his first stadium truck race , second time ever driving a stadium truck and I invented the sport, imagine what some practice and experience would result in? That’s an amazing compliment from one of the most legendary drivers in 6 different top level racing series! He’s STILL a top champion trophy truck driver who’s won the Baja 1000, 500x mint 500 so many times still dominating today and got beat by Cleetus in his own sport! Having Robby Gordon talk so highly about your driving talent is about the biggest compliment any driver could get ,..from a freaking World Champion trophy truck driver, NASCAR driver, Indy car & founder of stadium truck was just talking about Cleetus first race in stadium truck when his second time ever in a stadium truck or competarive off-roading vehicle period battled back and fourth with Robby Gordon , the inventor of the sport with 45 years of PROFESSIONAL driving & world championships and first race ever cleetus battled back and fourth with Robby for 1st place and gained quite a lead last couple laps until thst heartbreaking literal last jump just meters before the finish turned the truck. Robby said tho he “won” he felt like Cleetus won clearly as a rookie having the sun in the bag until the last just made Robby feel like he didn’t win, Cleetus had a spec of misfortune just before the finish line so he only “won” becasue Cleetus had that misfortune . He said that’s not a satisfying win becasue I got beat and by a first timer but to be fair , Cleetus is a natural “win” his first race and in a long travel off-road racer, soenthing he’s never done. He said as he tried to catch Cleetus last lap he thought to himself “ok, I need to sign this kid!” Then second race in jet boating And wins all 3 heats over longtime pilots!???
