Kudos to the car's owner, for taking on a huge challenge. It's obviously his first time! Are they opening up the engine or just replace a bunch of serviceable parts? Good stuff here for gear heads! As for people getting on your car, I just don't park at busy places and leave my car. Or I'll park it away from where people are gathering, walking around, hanging around, etc....

Wow, that is a labor of love! Several months ago, I did my first head gasket replacement job on a v-6. It took me 9 days. If I bought a Ferrari like this, wow, it would probably take me a year to pull that engine out and put it back together. Great video and inspiring 👍

Great vid's on the 348 Dan. I know that the 348 and the Mondial QV are two different animals, but 4 hrs to do a complete cam belt job on my Mondial is why I won't go up to the 348. They are super cool, but being a "normal guy" it's just way too much effort and cost. A cam belt job on my Mondy costs me $250 AU. Because of the ease in cost and maintenance, you can afford to keep them in really good condition. Cheers.

Hi. You said that Shell reads the comments, so here goes. If Shell wants to market their gas more, they need to figure out why people do not know about how good their gas is. Or why spend the extra money vs. no name gas. Ask people where their local Shell station is and I bet 90 % don't know. Create a contest named Name that Shell (as in where it is) or name the 4 things their gas corrects and if they get it right, give them a gas card. Create a jingle that people can't get out of their head. But do something... If it were me, I would do everything to get a Ferrari Club endorsement, and go club by club. And oh yes, send Stan a gift card,,,LOL

Hi. Can you do a video about which Ferrari's will have the most depreciation and which ones are about the bottom and will probably appreciate, and take into account the repairs costs of an older one - like the F50 scares me - change the belts takes repairs to a whole new level even a billionaire would cry... I like the 430 Spider your friend drives that smokes the cigar but how much for annual maintenance if I drive it 7000 miles per year? Oh yes, if I buy a car to drive, better to buy a low mileage one or one that has high miles and I will pay less? Thanks.

Don't get me wrong, I love Ferrari, but having to do an engine out service is a total nightmare! Gotta have alot of time, patience and money to do this. Not to mention a lift! I think I'll stick to my rotary vehicles. I contemplated getting an F355.. but after seeing all this.. forget it.. Pretty car! But not worth the headache for the little time I'm able to drive it. Not to mention my RX-7 will outperform it by a large margin... :-) P.S. 1 of the main reasons why I don't take my car anywhere if I know I'm going to need to park it. You never know what idiots decide to pose with the vehicle so they end up sitting on it, touching it, or breathing on it. No respect!

That’s very true, but still if that had been a Brit or American design it would have been slated, the Italians can get away with it. 🤑. How about the new Stingray however, I think there may may well be cancelled orders for other cars. The price for you guys is a real game changer for a mid engine car. Let’s hope it meets the launch hype, and making it right hand drive too. I can see them struggling to meet demand, can’t be bad, I lover it, which says something as I never give American cars a second thought, but this looks special.
