I had a Japanese chin who got this done. My friend works on humans and while petting him she felt a rib out of place. She started pushing on it and he growled at her until we all heard a loud pop! He was shocked and froze as the pain magically disappeared. Then he got this huge smile on his face and rubbed up against her hand almost asking her to find more spots. After that anytime my friend came over my little pup would come running over begging for her to pet him and work out all he’s aches.

Also dogs CAN react in a completely new way to a completely new experience. Dogs can bite when spooked. And owners can and often are caught of guard by their dogs biting other people or dogs. This man IS brave, because dogs are never 100% predictable, even less so with a new experience. Nobody knows how a dog will react 100% of the time, because thats impossible. Its even impossible for humans. Your not even able to know how you will act 100% of the time in any possible situation. Sometimes you will be surprised. There is always a risk doing that to big dogs, especialy breeds with strong bites.

@@amberanime Brave or not, I agree with Natalie. Worst came to worst, the dogs wouldn't hardly have any logical reasoning to attack the man, especially in an attempt to hospitalize him. They felt physical relief. It was in no way painful for any shown on the video. Most owners out there DO have the basic sense to in-fact know how their dog would reasonably react to strangers, as hard as that may be to believe. And naturally with as physical of a job as he's involved in, it would only make sense that he would build their trust before going in on his practice.

Our vet does canine chiropractic work. We sought him out after my jack Russel woke up paralyzed one morning from Inter vertebral disc disease. Chiropractic was a huge part of getting her walking again! That was 2 years ago, and she still sees him for an adjustment every two weeks. If we go any longer than two weeks we notice her residual limp worsens, and she starts ‘knuckling’ when she walks in her left back paw. Such a valuable skill, and I’m so thankful for what it’s done for my Lucy. ❤

@@nataliehoyos8649 our vet is in SE Washington state. However, he is just in a regular veterinary clinic. He is actually the second veterinary chiropractor we have seen. I would call some of the vets in your area, and ask if they have a trained canine chiropractor on staff. You may find a good one quite close to you.

Its kinda sad that many people still think its some kind of charlatanry. My family doctor is also specialized in chiropractic work & it just helps. He even says "Its so good to treat people instantly instead of giving them a syringe with cortisone that in many cases doesn't even help." He strictly only treats the spots that have a dislocation though.

@@sunxseras It's considered charlatanry because for good reasons, dislocated joints and just making air bubbles go "pop" are very different things too, though most people won't be aware of it and think you can just magically fix any long standing issue from poor posture or accidents instead of physical therapy...

@@Lamren Yea, thats why the Doc i visit only treats dislocated spot & nothing else. Its a MD from Uni Frankfurt, Germany. He's not going all out like the people on youtube that are treating & cracking everything. And, as you said: physiotherapy is another important part. But often you just do a wrong movement ( like me once between the shoulders while rubbing my hair dry ) and suddenly you have a pinched nerv. Thats when he prefers chriopractic over cortisone. He wouldn't use this for someone who has a herniated disc for example.

I'm on the fence about chiropractic work.. there's a handful of chiropractors who do more harm than good, but the good ones really outshine the rest.

The stiffness of the face when he cracks their bones, the whale eyes, the licking of the lips, the American Bully was literally growling because he didn't like what he was doing to him, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier reacted so quickly and jumped up on him because he was uncomfortable and he was showing an "appeasement behaviour". And dogs will not "100% yelp" if something hurts them, lots of dogs go through pain without crying.

Chiropractic is helpfull. dont believe this two trolls before. I couldnt move my left arm, over my shoulder highed. After it got "relocated" (chiropractic) and at some other spots too. i could move it back up. Not fully, because my muscles werent use to it. After abit training and 2-3 massage sessions for my muscle group, my pain is gone, and my left arm back to 100% usable. Differents im a Human. I can say, my shoulder hurts. He has to be learned about a Dog body and his structure to see it from the Outside. (btw good human chiropracts can see it on humans aswell)

My mom had a dachshund, and it had a problem walking with its back legs and the veterinarian wanted to put the dog down, but my mom didn’t want to have to do that. She took it to a chiropractor, and the dog was running around like crazy after just two treatments. The veterinarians could not believe it when they saw the dog the next time my mom brought it in. It is like making a lot of cuts on your body and saying that it cleaned your blood from impurities. Chiropractic, bloodletting, acupunture and all other pseudomedicines are scams, which is the reason they aren't considered medicine in the first place.

So true. Because slight anxiety or fear blazes out to dogs. Then they start getting nervous and worried trying to figure out what YOU are so scared of. This can trigger their defensive instincts. I think a lot of these sessions will be in getting the dog to trust enough to do the work.

For what it's worth - I've been a chiropractic patient for many years. It absolutely helps with pain, numbness, range of motion issues, and numerous other symptoms. Unless I'm in a very great deal of pain already, the adjustments are very painless and I can often feel the nerve and blood flow restored immediately. I think these dogs likely benefit greatly from the work this man does and I applaud him for dedicating his talents to helping everyone's fur babies. I can only imagine how much better some of these animals must feel after getting adjusted, but it has to be good for their discomfort and mobility.

Just be careful to get a good one. Do lots of research on them. The one I went to put a crack in my lower spine that is still having trouble fully healing after several years. A good chiropractor is worth their weight in gold, but a bad one can really mess you up!

how on gods green earth can anyone think that chiropractition works on animals when theres no supporte evidence for it whatsoever. most of all an animal cannot even respond to whatever it helps or not. than theres the fact theres no studies on these practise nor are there any long documentation of its validity. this is the result of people treating animals as people.
