Got one of these and use it exactly as you intend Doc. It works well to add a few PSI to a car tyre but not if it's seriously fiat. The beauty of this system is the many other Ryobi 4v tools that use the same battery. Plus you can get a battery that acts as a USB C charger, so you can carry an inflator and phone charger in one!

These things are cool. An old neighbour just gave me his compressor and hose reel because he has one of these little battery inflators, his a Milwaukee. I was stoked. Ive got a new Jamec-Pem analogue tyre inflator attachment just like what every service station in the 90's had in Australia which I'll fit to my new 'out of date' belt drive compressor. 👍 I love these new liitle plastic battery things from China. The NOS Jamec-Pem inflator wad designed and proudly demonstrated in their advertising to be driven over by a truck, which is kinda what you want for a publicly used tool at a gas station. The ol compressed air inflator with anologue roll gauge, inflates tyres in seconds.

Interesting tool, great for bicycles I always have something similar with me on the road, but not attached to the bike. I observed some impact screwdrivers on your table, or maybe just one, from wera. 👍👍👍👍

I've got the 18V version that you can preset the PSI. Works great.

I bought one because it fits in the seat of my motorcycle then i found out it takes forever to even increase the tire pressure a couple psi but works great on my mine and my kids bikes and balls so i kept it anyways

Some people knock Ryobi and that's okay but they have some tools that other companies don't. I have Makita, M18/12 and love those tools but I love my 4" Ryobi clamp fan and their magnifier light. They also make a misting fan that sits on a 5gal bucket that is outstanding. I have a few of their 18650 battery tools like the glue gun. Works great but not a super long run time. The problem with their usb battery tools is that if you want to buy a spare battery it's very expensive. In Canada it's $35 for the 2 Ah and $45 for the 3 Ah.

I picked up the Craftsman battery misting fan. Excellent product but fit/finish is noticeably less than my similar sized Milwaukee fan.

I was wondering when you would jump into Ryobi.

Fumpa really kicked these bicycle inflators off. It's also still more compact

I bought one. It’s ok’ish but the battery capacity lets it down. Even with the bigger capacity battery it won’t pump up 2 mountain bike tyres 😕

On a that size tire you definitely lost 1 PSI removing the inflator nozzle and again when checking the pressure. I have several battery powered inflators because I use them so often. I've looked at this one several times now but I just can't imagine it being useful for my needs. I still want it because of the "cute" factor but I just can't justify buying it since I already have two of the Ryobi 18V handheld inflators.

Ive been looking for my truck! Everything seems to struggle with 60lbs of tire pressure! Any suggestions would be great!

Both my Milwaukee inflators are great. I routinely use my M12 at 75lbs. And the M18 is fast up to 50.

Did you say the battery only lasted 31 seconds before it was drained?

No, the display is visible for 31 seconds then it turns off.

Do you have to hold the button while it pumps?

Ryobi is for homeowners. They are always the slowest, weakest. Maybe the newer tools are better. Can you address that issue. It will not go away.
