Haha.. Wow girl.. You put a smile on my face this evening.. Stumbled upon your review of top 5 tanks at the B.tankmusem.. Your energy and enthusiasm made it really fun to watch.. So I just had to check your channel out.. Nice to see this metalkitten again.. My absolute favorite.. Did it as a 3D-model for a filmproject during my time in the university.. Have you heard we have a tankmusem here in Sweden also called Arsenalen (arsenalen.se/en/)? They got a PzIA, a Pz38(t), tiny Goliath and several other tanks of different nations and eras.. If you love tanks its worth a visit.. =)

The Jagdpanther is so much sexier than the standard Panther tank. German tank destroyers always look sexy.

I seriously think WW2 Germans designed their tanks to be aesthetic, cuz so many of them are even if it cost them performance. Jagdpanther and Stug III are the sexiest imo.

Someone give a heads up on the paint scheme? Why brown and tan?
@cgross825 жыл бұрын
The reddish color is actually a primer coat. Late in the war, the Germans were running out of all kinds of supplies and resources due to Allied bombing and blockades. This included paint. So, the creative solution was to let the primer serve as one of the camouflage colors, and use the sand color that was still available as the other color to break up the vehicle's outline.
@RW4X4X30065 жыл бұрын
@@cgross82 Very interesting! The Germans seem to have outdone themselves in camouflage with what resources they had available. Thank you. And of course, tree limbs and cut shrubs tied to the vehicle would finish the job.

@@PhilipKerry If one values realism in their tank game WT beats out WoT even with all the crazy bullshit that happens in WT like shots zipping in and out of tanks and never registering as hits. Getting racked in WT is insta death as it should be for the most part unlike in WoT which is just critical dmg.

Zimm was on most Jagdpanther G1 but, G2 did not have it. As already said, Zimm was discontinued in Sept '44. This example is a G2 as you can see it has a Panther G engine deck, 2-piece barrel, and a single driver's viewport.

If anything, it means that someone made a big mistake. It makes no sense to play the american anthem on a british event when german tank destroyer, restored by a british organisation, drives up. But nice try anyway ;D.
@cgross825 жыл бұрын
@@Enthropical_Thunder The Stars and Stripes Forever is a patriotic march, but not the National Anthem. The soundtrack for the event was a series of patriotic military marches from different nations (I was there). I realize that this was merely a coincidence that this particular selection was playing at that particular moment. I just thought it was ironic, that's all.
