This happened in my area, literally 20 mins drive away. The most insane thing about this case was that the murderer was actually working in a Psychiatric Care facility. It's not unusual for wealthy people to get away with crimes here, especially if they possess a dual Citizenship. Thank you for covering this case, much respect. Just a few corrections to your video: Women are not banned from riding bicycles here. Infact in Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi - women are often seen riding motorcycles. If you don't believe me, I am happy to provide you with video evidence from my local area. There are also very popular and common gyms, they do have private workout areas for women - but that's mostly up to the women to decide if they prefer to not exercise around other men. We also have a very strong recognition of Trans rights, and this may surprise you but under Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act 2018, "Transgender persons are guaranteed all fundamental rights enshrined in the Constitution of Pakistan. In addition, the Act recognises transgender persons' right to property inheritance, voting, education, employment, healthcare, assembly, access to public places and to hold public office."

Even in many affluent families, they want women to remain silent in the matter of seeking divorce, experiencing abuse, sexual assault, etc. Cases like Samia Sarwar whose family was against her divorce and remarriage; and Samia Shahid, whose father suspected of being involved in her murder. I wish there was abuse/harassment registry that are public access just like some places have sexual crimes registry that perpetrators are registered on

In Pakistan there is a death penalty for a single murder, but the accused can still escape from a death penalty legally if victim's family forgive the accused or accused family members pay the blood money to victim's family and reached to some settlement. Laws like this needs to be demolished because its misused frequently by rich people here. Example : Raymond Allen Davis a american national, who was convicted in Pakistan for Double homicide, illegal possession of a firearm but escape the death penalty while paying diyya (blood money) to victims' families.

Even in the US, you would be shocked how high the standard for involuntary commitment is. It is nothing like the Hollywood fantasy, where movies make it seem easy for doctors to “lock someone up.” Having odd beliefs and behavior, making bad decisions, even harming yourself (to some degree) is not enough. Varies by state, but worked psychiatry for a few years, and had a case where an elderly person would sit hanging out their 4th story apartment window all day in winter because they thought cooking smells from neighbors was “poison gas pumped into their apartment.” When they’ refused all help, the judge said even THAt was not anywhere near enough for involuntary care.

It happened in my neighbouring country and still haunts me to this day. Noor actually went to break up with him - she wanted to focus on her career. Her sister and friends shared many details of Noor, her relationship with Zahir, and her own plans of future. However, he couldn't face the rejection. He beat her up, raped her, stabbed her, beheaded her, and raped her again. Apart from the cover up from his parents, when police finally reached the room, Zahir was playing around with Noor's head like a football. Also, his parents should have been punished too. They enabled him and covered up for his crimes. Therapyworks has its own shady history with the Zaffers. The institute granted certifications to both Zahir and his mother to work as mental health therapists. They were there to cover up the scene, but they probably didn't expect how gruesome it would be. The guards, on the other hand, were poor and helpless - working with affluent, influential, arrogant and violent people like Zahir Zaffer. Those poor guards were scared for their own lives. It was a neighbour who finally called up the police. Even after the verdict, I still wait every day for the punishment to be finally handed over to that criminal. Rest in peace, Noor. I hope you get to spread your wings in another life.

The only reason he was prosecuted and in the process of being punished is because the father of Noor is a wealthy influential person. Had it been the local cleaners daughter the outcomes would be different. As sad as this is, and it’s definitely horrific. In fact it’s downright disgusting. @@saadmirza4221 Japan has a very positive image in people mind and people respect Japanese culture and people. When something negative comes off from there it won’t be labeled to entire country. But Pakistan already has image issue and moment people hear such things it only reenforce their negative opinion. Plus these incidents are not something to be proud of, why would as Pakistani you would want world to glorify it. Nothing good can be achieved by promoting such stories Even look at the negative image is portrayed about Pakistan and even Islam. Like Pakistan don’t allow women to drive or given any liberty and they are not treated respectfully in the society.

Im not being funny or anything, and this case is absolutely horrendous, no denying that. But the amount of murders of women and rape that goes ignored and swept under the rug in Pakistan is unreal, so many females are brually murdered with no consequences is unbelievable. This case has made headlines because poor Noor came from money. Women in Pakistan (and maybe India and other countries bordering), need to be investigated more closely by authorities. My children are half Indian, so please dont shout rasism on my part.

I lived across from Zahir Jaffer and his family. He seemed like a quiet introvert. The one very peculiar thing was the number of car accidents that happened and people dying in them or being gravely injured after leaving their house. Three women died in a car accident when their car fell off a nearby bridge after attending a party at their house. Another girl in her car hit a wall or a bulldozer after leaving their lane and the car caught fire nearly killing her. She had severe burns. Turns out his family was into pretty satanic rituals and these were some kind of human sacrifices. He mentioned something about human sacrifices after being arrested in Noors case. Really creepy folks. What I dont understand is why the parents were let off the hook, they were complicit. Edit : The girl whose car had caught fire and had almost died, died recently.

I've also heard the same thing of him being involved in satanic rituals etc.

Bro what are you on about? They crashed their cars because they were highly intoxicated after attending parties at this house. Drugs were common in these parties. I've been to their house as I took therapy from his mother and she was intelligent and kind. She always spoke up about women rights whenever I shared my experiences. And once she kind of indirectly mentioned that she worries about her son but then stopped as it was my session not hers. Don't blame them for something you have no proof of.

People seem very different from what they are outside than what they do inside. Ppl change very quickly behind closed doors. I hope your not that gullible. No matter what zahirs mother said to you or whoever, saying "she's worried for her son" etc is only to gain sympathy votes from others to make themselves feel better about themselves and to better their image in front of other because it strokes their ego. She is a despicable woman. The parents from the beginning knew that Noor was at his house and he was holding her captive. And also rather than informing her parents (as both families know each other) and trying to sort this situation out carefully and smoothly they further enabled their son. And by the way, he was already deported from uk for sexual assault. Yet his parents protected him rather than he face the consequences. He probably had lawyers who must've struck a deal with the court to let him off the hook and deport him rather than imprison him. And you guessed it, the lawyers would've been paid bu his wealthy parents! Also if they were family friends, and as you said zahirs mother was concerned for him and she was taking about women empowerment, she could've EMPOWERED Noor and informed her not to get involved with her son as he is extremely mentally sick and needs to better himself first (again he didnt need help as he already was getting all the help since many years through therapy works) Therefore what your saying is pretty wrong. throughout world history, beheading has largely been utilized to make an example out of a corpse. typically, however, that's mostly happened to people considered to be a hostile enemy. the idea is to ward off other potential enemies. it's disturbing to consider how this has extended to personal attachments - almost as if to declare "this is what happens when you're not obedient." it's another means to try and control women, and probably among the most horrifying, at that.

The mental health clinic was where Zahir WORKED and these employees were very close with his very rich and powerful father. He is diagnosed with schizophrenia, and used to be treated at this clinic before studying psychology and starting to work there. He called his father many times, and instead of calling the police, his father called the mental health center. The health workers (5 or 6) all went to his house where they were met with even more of Zahirs friends. After attempting to enter the house, Zahir even STABBED one of the workers, and this is around the time that the police were actually called. The staff members were at the house for the entire duration of Noor’s torture, and they did nothing on multiple occasions. I know these videos are short but there was a LOT of missing info that gives greater context to this whole situation. love your channel, but I had to point this out~

Usually I don’t comment and most of the videos are very well researched but some parts of this video was not fully correct. However, that’s not important RIP Noor.
