That's the thing, the thing that separates humans according to an article I read by a forensic psychologist. Any and every human can kill, and has something that holds them back. But whether it's self defense or murder, he said you stop participating in humanity when you dismember another person, it is not a human trait.

played with these guys close to a decade ago, Cedric was a rad guy, Ray was too. my band even crashed at their space; everything was cool until we were in the house, then you could cut the tension in the air with a knife. super sad story. oh, and on an off note, using an exclamation point has been a somewhat common thing across the alt genres of rock for a few decades, most notably Against Me!, one of the best bands to come out of Florida in the last few decades, even collaborating with Miley Cyrus, as a punk band lmao.

@jonslg240
@jonslg240 6 ай бұрын
Then to write a confession, then give a video confession, both because you feel so guilty because of what you did.. Only to turn around and lie through your teeth in court.. Makes one wonder if he was truly remorseful at all. Or if he was just tired of his life and living with the worry or being caught that he decided to make his suicide look more noble than it actually was. Or even if the suicide attempt was just a ploy and not a real suicide attempt, to try and get leniency.
@jonslg240

It seems like it was a ploy to try and get a good plea deal.. and when he realised he wouldn't get one, he changed his tune and lied through his teeth. I have no idea how the first jury couldn't agree on the fact that he was absolutely guilty. After 2 confessions, the way he tried to "change his tune" 😉 strains credulity beyond the limit.

One more popular Canadian crime story I find fascinating and really enjoy hearing from different True Crime story tellers is the one of where the homeless go missing and a bunch of shoes are found on a pig farm across the US/Canadian border. @@OntarioBearHunter I'd pick Maxwell's for sure. I don't listen to mainstream music. My former stomping ground was Club Abstract for many years. I live Uptown with the two universities up the street. Everything is catered to the students. Hence, Toronto. Incidentally my profile pic is my favourite band BRMC.

So sad & unnecessary- seems like Raymond took all his rage & frustration out on someone who needed help & support. While he slept too, what a coward. RIP Cedric. He sounds like a really nice person who deserved so much better. I'm sure he will be missed.

Hi Adrian, if you're staying downtown in the St. Lawrence area, you can try Fahrenheit Coffee. I haven't been there in a couple of years due to the pandemic but they were quite good when I used to go. There are a lot of independent cafes in the downtown area, so have fun sampling when you're here. I know Tim Hortons is our national chain, but it's mostly for fast, brewed coffee. Let's say the quality is extremely inconsistent.

Such a very, very sad case. I'd never heard of this one. Would love for you to cross over the blue water bridge into Port Huron Michigan, when you visit Canada in the spring!! I live close to Canada, yet I have no clue where they have a good coffee place. Just stay far from the HUGE Corporation. (Look up Canada's number one coffee business) Thank you for all of your amazing content. Any plans to colab with Mike? Both of you are my favorite true crime reporters. Merry Christmas/Happy New Year from the thumb of Michigan 🎄🎄🎄

Jealousy is just so sad running through your bones. He had no right to take the life of Cedric. He didn’t have much to offer regarding money, but he had a good heart. He also had people that loved him, and it was taken away from someone who was just jealous, so he deserves to be in prison for life without serving a minimum of 20 or 25 years life should mean life. What is selfish person to take Cedric away from his family and friends who loved him Rest In Peace Cedric 🎸

Referring to Raymond and Cedric as friends in the description and throughout the video was odd. Clearly, they were less friends and more rivals--and in time--adversaries.

Wonder how Raymond tried to explain the blood found in the apartment. If it were just in the bathroom or kitchen, it could be explained with a accidental cut, but to have it on the couch and in the fridge doesn't leave much room for a innocent explication

I’m disappointed in you, Jordan. *1.* His name is Cedric. he’s a “Pirate” to the core & a talented guitar player. *2.* Using his tragic death to list your achievements is *EXTREMELY* *ALARMING* ,take a break from consuming true crime watch lighthearted content. *3.* There’s more to professionalism than simply claiming it. It’s not entitlement. Mr. Howell, you should be ashamed of yourself.
