Just heard this song on KLove for the first time today. I just got out of the hospital after dying five times due to a massive pulmonary embolism and being brought back to life. Apparently it wasn't my time. God gave me rest while I was in a coma in the ICU. I found myself in a peaceful green space all by myself, except for the presence of God's voice who told me that He was sending me back, but that it was going to be painful, so I could stay in the green space to rest for a while. God was right, it has been painful. So painful that at times I wish He would have taken me, because I wasn't scared to die. But I know God doesn't make mistakes and that if He brought me back to life, then He has a purpose for me to fulfill. I may be weary on my road to recovery, but I am trusting God to walk with me.

@@shirleyfletcher5379 God has been telling me over and over these last few months to be a witness of His goodness. It's amazing what God can do. I share my story every chance I get and will continue to praise Him and His miracles. And I invite anyone who hears my story to share it as well. Our God is mighty and He is not bound by any limitations. I may still get overwhelmed often, but I see God working every day. He has healed my pressure ulcer when no surgeon was willing to work on it because I couldn't be off blood thinners for the surgery. He saved my life and gave me back whole to my family when by all rights I should be brain dead. He has provided me so many opportunities to to praise Him to every doctor, nurse, physical therapist, and coworker I have. As every one of them has seen how incredible my recovery has been, they have witnessed miracles and they have seen the faith of me, my husband, and his family throughout. I love that as I tell my story to people I can even share with them the reason I don't fear death. God is so good. Absolutely incredible.

I first heard your song the day after my dad went to Heaven. He was 93 and so tired. I had to hold his head up to feed him. God took him on All Saints’ Day I think to comfort the family, God is good. I will see him someday in Heaven when I go Home. Beautiful song, I cry every time I hear it, I miss my sweet, hard working, loving, wonderful dad every day. I know he was weary. I heard this song for the first time as i left Oregon for Tennessee. I was moving across country because told me to go. I drove 3 desiel biggest moving trucks by myself and towed my car. I was certainly a weary traveler snd not meant to fo this alone. I hired packers to load and unload vans, but did it alone and only with the strength of God. Thank you fir blessing and reaffirming my move. I know i am exacyly where God wanted me.

I have listened and loved this song for the last few weeks. This morning I decided to watch the video. I should mention here that tomorrow will mark 1 year since my older brother passed away at only 50 years old, March 7th 2021. He spent many of his years hiking in the mountains of B.C. and Alberta Canada. My brother was a nature lover, a believer, and a singer/guitarist. He was a beautiful soul who taught me so much about simplicity, humility and the outdoors. For the last ten or fifteen years of his life he struggled with mental illness. He would be stable for long extended periods, then end up back in the hospital. But through it all, he never lost sight of the Source of his eternal hope. He would sing worship music in the hospital ward. At his funeral, one of the hospital workers said it often made him wonder who had things more figured out. He said perhaps my brother was there to help HIM get well and find healing(!!) My brother kept his beard and hair long, and looked quite a bit like the main character in the video; strikingly so, in fact. So I cannot tell you the comfort this song has brought to my heart today, to see this and think of how the "weary traveler" has now made it home. Until we meet again, Stephen. ♥ Thank you for the life you led and for shining so bright in spite of your struggles.

I hard this song on the way home from sitting all day with my stepdad in the hospital. He had suffered for months and made a decision to ask for hospice, he was in so much pain and was ready to go. What a beautiful song to hear as he made it home.

It describes perfectly the life my friend Amy who’s 9 year old daughter Carly who had a rare brain and genetic disease, who was blind and had intractable epilepsy, went home to be with the Lord this Summer. I talked to Heather about the hard times in PICU nursing, with sick children and the incredible faith needed to walk those journeys. I wish in my 20’s I had the faith that I have now to go back to help more of those families but help people with MH and Suicide Crisis now. Prayers forEmery, Heather and your precious family!❤️🙏🎵🎵🎵

I love this song SO much i heard it on the radio on the way home from thanksgiving dinner at my grandparents house last night and it immediately grabbed my attention, I had to know what it was called so i could find it later. So I whipped out my phone and got the name and when I got home I looked it up and since then I have absolutely fallen in love with it, I started learning it on my ukulele and it inspires me so much. May God give strength to your wife. And heal your child. I went through a similar situation. I spend most of my youngest son's first 16 years of his life going to hospital after hospital. He's now 18 and by the grace of God he is much better. We just have to believe in God's Promises. Jesus took all the deseases on the cross. So that we didn't have to. My son is 18 and growing strong. Very independent, and starting college soon. God promises are forever. He has never failed me. I have a husband, but he had to go to work. Mother's we do go through a lot. I think God made us with super powers. He gives us a special strength and endurance. ❤
