hello guys up north !!! great stuff as usual... i know we have discussed leafs and sabres prolonged failures recently, to no avail i might add, but now i have a serious question that i hope you can answer for me. when did the blue and silver bc rail livery start and end and did it start after the red/white and blue livery we all know so well ??? here is my dilemma... i certainly do not need another engine added to my cn/cp/ns/bnsf/up/ bprr/lal/wny&p/trillium rwy/etc/etc collection , and now i see midwest hobby has them for sale and they are beautiful !!! also, ex bnsf engines with a patch-out and cp added to the long hoods look mighty tempting as well !!! ( there is a patch out kcs version, too, which would be cp for me !!!) and, on top of all this great stuff, sd 90 mac-h's in patch-out up are also available with a simple cp on the long hood with or without big u.s. flag !!! holy shit, i need a beer !!! anyway, bc rail will be the first to fall for me and i was wondering about the blue/silver livery. could not find any dates on the net.... you are my last hope i think !!! blessings and many cold brews to the club !!! denny springville,ny

I’m honestly not sure, o think CN took ownership of bc rail in 2004, so maybe 98ish.? Sorry I can’t help with that

Who do you recommend for decals?

Generally i use microscale decals for the standard builds but if I need something custom made I got to circus city decals, Matt is amazing, it is pricey but he works closely with you and you get exactly what you need and they are the best quality
