Curious how you wired up the locally controlled push button so it communicates with JMRI to show the block occupied while it’s open?
@SilverCreekSub5 күн бұрын
Oh easy peasy, just use the 3 and 4 on the tortoise and run it into the BD20 for the same block, so if the switch opens, or there is a train in there it will drop the block
@ConrailBostonLineHOLayout5 күн бұрын
@ never thought of that!

1:13 This camera angle reminds me of the old model era of Thomas the tank engine the low camera angles always gave the trains this true to life scale and made them feel so real. You really captured that feeling here. I frickin love trains.

Do you use custom files or just the files from ESu?
@SilverCreekSub15 күн бұрын
ESU file parts mixed together and some custom horns and bells
@MainlineProductionsYT12 күн бұрын
Can I ask how you mix files?
@SilverCreekSub12 күн бұрын
@@MainlineProductionsYT using the lokprogramer, you can take sound slots and save them into a folder then add them back in to different sound files to get what you want

Wish I had the time like this to knock models out but after spending the majority of my time on the real deal I just don't have it in me. I'll be one of those guys at 70 years old that starts selling off tons of stuff I never got to.

Thank you!! And you just have to practice practice practice!! I was lucky enough to have a friend who had faith in me and kept giving me work, piece after piece I got better and better, but there was a lot of jobs that weren’t very good in the start, just practice and be kind to yourself! Cheers

Just buy a cheap tyco unit and etc and practice on it. It's not rocket science just technique and experience.
