The story in your name I believe was a bit better but I liked this one more because of the way the story bounced on amazing characters. I loved when they were running from the cops and showing the sunshine for everyone.

This might be my favourite Makoto Shinkai movie... And that says a lot... This hit me very very hard, and there was not one second where I didnt feel like this was my life in the screen and was completely hooked

Aside from the ending, I really loved this movie. I thought the plot was really creative and well-done, the music was terrific, and the visuals were beautiful. Imo, solid quasi-follow-up to Your Name.

Much better than your name. These characters I won’t forget ever... mitsuha and taki were very average and forgettable characters. If weathering with you is the standard of his movies from now on I’m going to truly enjoy them. I want a part 2!!!

@@jaspm Hey bro I'm not against you but Your name is about finding love despite the challenges, While in Weathering with you is about fighting love despite the consequences, Overall they did care about the city you will know it if you understand the movie well probably you misinterpret some of that cause your mind is your name I misinterpret that too and some say that the main character is so selfish but it isn't like that First at the end HODAKA is saying sorry for what he did and don't know what to say , he say sorry to taki's grandmother at the end to what happened to Tokyo and there takis grandmother also says the story that Tokyo is just a bay back then and humans and the climate just change it little by little and the world is reshaping its place and you can also see in the ending that HINA is praying when HODAKA sees him in the ending even if hinas prayer can bring the sunny weather they still wish they can so the didn't destroy the city As you I'm also in love with your name and I have the feeling that you have in your name but I have that feeling in weathering with you , my life is full of challenges and consequences ,so I hope you read this and understand comment something back. Overall its not as bad as you think some of shinkai's big fans says good about this movie and I havent heard some so positive reviews like I know other people saying your name is perfect anime some say it beats a silent voice and your name is too perfect but what I haven't seen in your name is some people saying in weathering with you allover the world that only shinkai's follower will know they say weathering with you is beyond perfect,some say it stabs and better over your name ,and some also say its shinkai's best film in fact in us this is say to be shinkai'a best film by far and if you see its us trailer version for weathering with you I earn the best shinkai film and its Japans biggest hit of the year hope you understand and I'm not against you I agree that your name is your best thing you ever seen and no worries I just what you to know that they not destroy the city overall I wish you best luck as possible and yeah (TAKI and MITSUHA got married if you don't know )💖💖💖 Also they in your name the city is already destroyed and all the people have died ,but TAKI go back to time in MITSUHA'S timeline and there they save the people there While in weathering with you its also the same the world is always been crazy dude the didn't destroy it cause its already destroyed dude,(also all of shinkai films are in the same universe) so let's get back to it .world is crazy we tally know that , in this film at the beginning city is a destroyed shit so its always raining when HODAKA finally knows HINA's power they use it as a living and they keep helping it even with no exchange some times ,even if Nina is slowly dying from she choose to help other right and don't care about herself at all ,she want other people to be happy and helping other people made her happy as well despite the thing that she will die, Now how about HODAKA well he did all the thing that he can do but the theme is weather and you can't change the weather even if hina can bring the sunshine is just for a short time it last just hours,in order to bring the sunshine she needs to sacrifice herself that brutal bro and its not forever and sacrifice is done every 100years and the sunny weather only last for 90years its not forever so they can't do anything bro listen to me for a sec "" ITS NOT WORTH LOSING THE BATTLE FOR YOUR OWN HAPPINESS JUST TO PROTECT THE TEMPORARY STATE OF AN EVOLVING DIFFICULT WORLD """ I'm not gonna make this comment infinity so I I want to ask you 1 question Will you sacrifice your love one and your purpose of existence just to protect a temporary state of a thing that is natural and not your fault???
