What they are talking about pretty much was what made their music stand out amongst their fellow British synthesizer band peers in the first place.

They have to be one of the world's greatest bands! I saw them in the 80s and never missed a tour in the U.S. Have been my favorite since I was 12 and even more today at 51

Likewise from France. Lyrics, videos to decypher, musical evolution, concerts, charisma, nobody can compare to them. With Alan Wilder, it would have been as good. Miss you Fletch 😢 ❤

One of things I love about Depeche Mode was the creative process if the early days. Whether it was tossing a rock on the threshold of a patio door, recording the sound of an engine, or shooting fireworks and capturing it on tape and turning it into sometimes unique and magical in the studio. DM pushed the boundaries which paved the way for their success. Sadly after Alan left finding and utilizing those types of sounds became a rhing of the past. Depeche Mode is and will always be my favorite band.

Wilder has remixed so many DM s songs and has aged elegantly. So discreet, wise , talented to rework Martin s demos. ❤ Wilder as well

Their sound captivated me at the age of 12-13. It was about 1988 and WOW was I in love by the time I attended my very first concert - 1990 World Violation Tour… oh myyyyy World IN MY EYES live was amazing 🌌💕✨❤️

I'm not prepared to make a comment right now to you guys but I want to apologize for my behavior I want to apologize to your fans in Cleveland Ohio rocket Field mortgage house security staff and first and foremost to Depeche mode my behavior was unacceptable God bless you guys I will make a statement at a later date but don't feel bad I saw Peter tosh in Seattle and 1983 I acted the same way and I think he died after that world tour he went back to Jamaica and was murdered
