I just got mine a couple days ago. Very lucky it’s in perfect condition still not sure what the first cook is going to be. I was able to put the leg clips in, but had to put them into the legs first not the socket. Then with a little screwdriver I got it to slip into place. Thanks for the video and the WKC. 👍

I got one too. But had chipping in the porcelain near bowl handle , leg sockets, and a few scratches down to the metal. Weber is sending me replacement lid and bowl 🙏. It was named Veronica and it collectively makes my 10th weber. Love your videos

You put the leg clips in incorrectly...most likely upside down. Try again. They work just fine.

Weber Kettle Club I have one...put it together first day no problems. Try reversing the clips. 👍🏻

Weber Kettle Club put into bottom of legs first but the opposite way that you have put them into the leg sockets. Make sure the (lock) is popped out...then insert into legs while compressing the lock and slide in until lock pops through the hole on the leg socket. Done ✅ 👍🏻

I see what you’re talking about now. Yeah don’t follow the directions...they’re wonky and putting clips in legs first is much easier then sticking them in the sockets first, then trying to squeeze lock up into leg hole. Bad instructions imho.

Your imperial is a 1965-1967. Weber discontinued the Imperial Glen Blue in 1967...replaced by the Avocado in 1968.

You have to put the leg clips into the legs first, then clip them into the sockets

Thanks for the video Troy! Man I just broke down in March and bought my first 26. Now I'll end up with two! (If they make another batch of blues!) I vote for burnt orange also, which would make thugs for me! And I'll be cooking on all of them!

All that's missing is wood handles and steel white wheels and that 26'll be perfect! I'll probably do that mod to mine once I get it. Also I'd like to see Weber do a yellow or orange kettle. Maybe a 2 toned purple? Or if they really wanna go all out, a replica of the OG 1952 Kettle like at the restaurants or the Star-Spangled American Kettle!

Yeah... I checked a few days ago and they are sold out! And the clips.. I have a slate blue kettle that I bought at the end of last year and same thing... could not get those to go into the leg correctly... Take care,,, beautiful color!
