It was a double-blind placebo-controlled study. The participants nor the researchers knew which individuals were receiving the actual treatment being studied and which were receiving a placebo.

Glutathione is endogenous (intrinsic to the body). Astaxanthin is exogenous (we can't make it in our bodies). Supplemental glutathione is very poorly absorbed by the body. Getting the liver to produce more glutathione is the key. Enter NAC (N-Acetyl Cysteine). NAC helps the liver produce glutathione and so it is a better supplement than just taking a glutathione supplement.

It's not glucocidic Valasta is the way to go

It doesn't do much for you unless it's glycosidic and this is not an easy process unless you have a background in biochemistry. If you take it in raw form without glucose bonded to it, you would have to take around 100-200mg per day for it to have any noticeable health benefits
