Bertrand Ferguson III my question is why do this if your getting 7k closing on home sales, that’s seems backwards if your getting that kind of commission, I would hustle those home commissions and get those thousands rather than a few hundred a day doing this. I just started being a Loan Signing Agent this year and Mark videos taught me without taking the course, I have closed about 15 loans so far in a couple months and so excited to get to 5-10k a month with signings. Mark, Maryland is one of the states where a notary exam is required. Additionally in Maryland I was required to obtain a Title Insurance Producer license to become a loan signing agent. I'm about 25 minutes into this webinar. You keep saying make 75-200 an hour, how much prep work is involved in each transaction? If there is three hours prep work, printing the 100 page document (more than one copy?) travel to and from the appt, that $100 fee is looking more like $25 or less an hour. And then supplies paper, pens, laserjet, insurance, etc.

I'm very interested but seriously, it has to take way more of your time than just an hour... You have to print, review and prepare the documents, travel to your destination and then if there are 150 pages, you have to go over every page. I've bought three homes in my life and while I cant remember exactly how long it took, I know it took way longer than an hour to sign the documents. As a barrower, I want to review each page and as a result, I have even found errors on some of the documents. 150 pages even at just 30seconds a page, is well over an hour for just the signing.

However, to become a signing agent you need to take and pass an exam to become an agent. You mentioned if I take your training I get NSA certificate. I am a Realtor, the Escrow officer is always the signing Agent. So why are you not including the Escrow officer in the mix. Mortgage, Realtor, and Escrow Officer. I answer that question the same as if you walked into a gym and asked the physical trainer how much weight they can make you lose. they would say...you can lose as much weight as you put effort in! you will lose more weight if you work out 5 days a week versus 3 days a week. Being a signing agent is not any different. mortgage professionals need notaries who know loan docs and i teach you how to go out and get those signing appts. how many signings you get is determined by how much effort you put behind applying the techniques in my course. I'll be the first to say this is NOT a get rich quick scheme. But if you put in effort there is a not an easier way to make money in my humble opinion!

Hi Mark, I recently sent my application in to obtain my notary commission in the state of Massachusetts. The course you offer looks great and I think it'll be really helpful! I read on the NNA website that Massachusetts has the following restrictions: Requires an attorney admitted to the state bar to be present or involved in the closing of real property transactions. A Notary who is employed by a lender may notarize a document in conjunction with the closing of his or her employer's real estate loans. Where you source the signing is what dictates the amount you receive as a signing agent!

Hi Tionna is an attorney state. This means that attorneys must be present at real estate closings and tend to work with in-house notaries, so it can be a little more challenging to get full-time business as a loan signing agent in an attorney state. I want you to understand that realistically, it won't be as easy to drum up business as it would be for a loan signing agent in an escrow state. BUT! There is absolutely still opportunity to make great money working part-time in attorney states! There are always going to be borrowers who can only meet when the attorney's office is closed on nights and weekends, and signing services are constantly looking for signing agents to complete "out of state signings" (for example, if the borrower is purchasing a home outside the state of North Carolina, but just so happens to be in North Carolina at the time of closing). Fortunately, my course teaches you how to fully utilize those signing services to supplement your income and get the signings that aren't handled by attorneys.

Im having trouble getting signing order and im not sure why. Is the field too saturated now? I have applied (and verified) on multiple signing services but nothing has came through. Any advise or recommendations?

So glad you asked Tina! It's quite the opposite! There's no such thing as a saturated market in the signing agent industry. Simply take a look outside your window- wherever you see houses, there's business for signing agents! As every home in America needs a notary to close. Hey Mark! I am a 21 year old going into my senior year of college from NJ. I want to and eager to start making this money to help me out with tuition, I am not done watching this video yet but I'm at 14:15 and you said that 7 states require this test to become a Notary. Would you know if NJ is one of those states? Thank you for all of the information!!

NJ is pretty easy to become a notary. No test required. You can become a notary in a few days if you qualify
