in all my years, I had never heard of Mr Daniels; I read Web of Stories for the many scientists featured, but this chap is so engaging and authentic, a real pleasure to listen to, even though horology means little to me. Refreshing.

What an amazing man. Listening to these is such a pleasure compared to the usual macho nonsense that associated with watches these days

The transcript is incorrectly printed, "Then I met an American, a man called Eckwood , , ,", That would be the American industrialist Seth G. Atwood. Daniels clearly pronounces his name.

@@webofstories::: Well, I must say it was a surprise to receive a reply and, even more so, that the misprint would be this quickly attended to. I wish to thank you for your part in this most remarkable set of videos. I have watched each of the 85 and several repeatedly. They are immensely informative, entertaining and, at times, Mr. Daniels' sense of humor was quite refreshing. It was time very well spent. Again, a well deserved thank you.
