How To Enable 'Dual SIM Always On' On Samsung Galaxy S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra

Here's how to enable the 'Dual SIM Always On' feature on your Samsung galaxy S23 Ultra. This activates call forwarding on the carrier's network.
Dual SIM Always on allows a call on one SIM to interrupt a call on the other SIM, effectively while on an active phone call.
This method shown in this video will also apply to the Samsung Galaxy S23 and S23+.

This is not a true always on , its a manipulation that you could have done before by manually enabling call forwarding in your sim. All they have done is put a setting in the phone to make the phone do it for you. It all depends if the the carrier allows call forwarding. The other thing is call forwarding may cost you the equivalent of a call or more if you don't have an unlimited plan or if you're roaming.

You mean to say it doesnt properly work as dual sim active and its basically a dual sim standby fone with call forwarding not working always ....

You can see at the end when he makes the setting change, it automatically sets up call forwarding and call waiting with the mobile carrier. And after it fails.. he makes the statement that its carrier dependent. ..

Will the second SIM show in the SIM Manage after the second SIM is installed? Right now, the SIM Manage doesn't show anything about SIM 2.

Are you please able to tell me how to set up my dual sims so that one sim is silent during certain hours or in a certain location etc, yet the other sim receives calls with an audible ringtone? Ie set up so only work sim has active audible ringtone at work, and personal sim is on silent mode? Thanks in advance!

@Mark R as far as I looked into it, it appears to be a region specific setting. But I hope there is an option to allow it.

Thank you for this information it was very helpful. And I have still a question: I would like to cancel my previous phone service provider as I went with a new plan, from Virgin to Public which I put my new SIM with the new provider keeping the old SIM for transfer of the phone number. My question is can I still keep the old SIM close to my new SIM without be charged by my old provider company?

I don't have the option to enable preferred SIM settings. That does not show up on the SIM Manager screen How do I enable this?

Why would you want to forward a call to the other sim card? You're not going to be able to answer it if you are on a call anyway. Wouldn't you just want it to go to voicemail?
