есть ли возможность разбить прямую связь с SQL? сейчас мало кто уже ходит в базу, все берут JSON с серверов

SQL can be executed on any source, not database only - JSON, XML, CSV, Excel, Delphi objects and collections. SQL is just a convenient way to describe columns, joins, conditions, ordering and grouping, no matter what source is used.
