Quick note Bob, when you first open the account, they do make you wait for money to clear, beofre they let you buy anything. After about 3 deposits, you can then get instant buying power based off how much you deposited. In the fine print it does say if a deposit is returned (you didn't have the money in the bank to cover deposit) you will loose instant buy power for good. Webull will let you use the money form the sale of stock right away to buy other stocks. It pops up a menu that says you can buy the stocks with the money form the sold stocks but you cant sell it for a said period of time.

1st THANK YOU for this video Bob. OK full disclosure, I have been on Webull since 2020 after missing out on tech like Zoom. So I only put lunch money in monthly. Now I'm back because AI is the hype now. SO I found out the hard way that I am a plankton not a whale. In order to make more than 3 trades and sells per 5 business days, you must have more than $2000 in the account. Then after you have more than $25k in the account, you can do a lot more. Trying to make several commission free day trades is what notified me of this policy. I'm not angry at all, just humbled because back in the day, people had to pay a commission or a fee on every transaction. Instead of being bitter, I'm inspired to build up my account so that I can trade the way I want to.

Great question! Webull is the same thing but can be a little bit more complicated at first glance compared to Robinhood (this is why I ended up making this video to hopefully make it a little less scary).

The only crappy thing about Webull with is your dividends aren’t automatically reinvested with Robinhood they are so in Webull you have to manually reinvest every dividend but it’s not that big of a deal an they prob will add that feature at some point tbh

A thought for beginning investors like me. Don't buy with the explicit goal of getting rich. Money would be nice, but its not guaranteed. Buy with the thought in mind that you're buying influence. We all know companies are awful and continually screw people over in favor of making money for stockholders. But if you're one of those stockholders, you can influence change in the companies. Better working conditions. Better products. Lower prices. You probably won't get rich off of this. But you can still make a difference with it.

That is interesting! It should only be M-F when the market is open (unless you are trading crypto, in which case that always trades 24/7). You may want to check with Webull if it's a normal Stock or ETF and it's somehow making moves on a Sat/Sun.

Got a question As a new investor should we worry about when we bought a stock when we sold a stock how much we gained and how much we lost for tax purposes? If so do you have a spread sheet or does webull do this for you? I know if you sell it your taxed like a regular employee if you hold it for longer less taxes are owed.
