3X7: Al is kinda taking the same approach that Roswaal took last season and basically telling Subaru to abandon everything else aside from Emilia. Like Roswaal, he also underestimates Emilia and doesn't understand why she isn't being scared or feeling helpless. And Al also kind of repeats what Roswaal told Subaru at the end of S2. That choosing to shoulder the burden of everyone would be nearly impossible. But Subaru decides to do it anyway because that's what he has to do. Also, side note. Otto has really been coming in clutch. In S1 he helped Subaru reach Emilia in time and helped stop Petelgeuse. In S2 him not being in the tome helped Subaru stop Roswaal's plans. And now he's brought the strongest card, Reinhard, into battle. 3X8: Otto took the burnt up tome of wisdom because he doesn't trust Roswaal at all. Which is fair. Roswaal may have that mark on his body that prevents him from acting against their group now. But he could've had contingency plans set up in advance on the rare chance that he failed. He put all of their lives in danger. And in some of the failed loops with Subaru actually succeeded in taking some of those lives. We have a bunch of planning and then see the wedding between Emilia and Regulus. Regulus is very interesting as a villain because he constantly contradicts himself. He says that Emilia and Capella are shallow for their ways of thinking but when he first met Emilia he said that he wanted to marry her because of her face. He says all of these things to make himself seem better or claims he's being generous to Emilia. But he becomes upset if he isn't correct in the end. Which is actually very similar to what Subaru used to do. He became infatuated with Emilia because a pretty girl saved him and then spent most of S1 making decisions that he claimed were for her but were really just to satisfy his own ego. Regulus is like a much more dark and twisted version of how Subaru used to be. So it's very fitting that he's Subaru's Antagonist for this season.

So we have a few month break. Based on reliable leaks though. There’s still a lot more season 3 left though. This arc has 8 more episodes, and the next arc is set to be adapted with 22 episodes as well. Great time to be a Re:zero fan!

It's not stabilized, atleast not the Dragon Blood Curse.. it's constantly battling out with the already existing/inactive curse from the Mabeasts.. they just cancel each other out. Only advantage Subaru got from the dragon Blood Curse is it's regeneration on the affected area, the mutations can't occur because it can't fully take over his body with an already existing curse.

An important detail that never made its way into the anime is the eight armed Kurgan was murdered by Regulus when he invaded the Empire and destroyed a fortified fortress, killing everyone there including their strongest swordsman, Kurgan. regarding who 79th wife is it is something from season 2 that was CUT CONTENT (so i would read this little spoilery comment, because i dont think it will ever be adressed again and should have been adressed in season 2). but you are very close. . . why would regulus come with pandora? he didnt care about seal in the forest, like he doesnt care about cult's demands in season 3. he only cares about his wives. and who could it be, similar to emilia, living in that forest emilia grew up in, that was there when attack happened, but wasn't able to become his wife because she was presumably killed and then possibly made archbishop?
