Back in Season 2, when Petelgeuse first used the unseen hands, he threw Regulus off the ground and sent him crashing far back. I think the Sloth Witch Factor in general trumps Lion Heart, because Suburu also manages to hurt him. And Sekhmet was often considered one of the most powerful witches of her time compared to other witches, I think the second strongest under Satella, so if Echidna also had this ability then that means Sekhmet could also defeat her.

I think it's more like the scene with Geuse, who was also able to throw around Regulus for a while by catching him by surprise. An attack that catches Regulus off guard seems to have a minor impact against him. Also almost forgot, Regulus getting hit by Subaru's Invisible Providence and taking the damage in the beginning of the season.

Pretty much like Petelgeuse asked to Subaru in Arc 3 why he was “faking” his madness, Subaru at that point instead of facing reality he was trying to escape it by being crazy, and in fact Petelgeuse calls him slothful.

That you can shamelessly make misunderstandings, that are from my point of view, hilariously wrong, is why I hate getting involved with others! Obnoxious, annoying, irritating, infuriating, vexing, dirty, unsightly scum. I’ve always always been doing well, for years, decades, centuries, this way for all that time, I have been faithfully serving as a Sin Archbishop more than anyone. 3:30 - Regulus being described as courteous to another's thoughts is only his perception of himself. It's not real. So that statement made me have to stop and laugh, because it's nonsense. Regulus even tried to condescend to Pandora! He literally kidnapped all these women and moulded them into what he desired through terror. Regulus doesn't know love, his possession of these women is called love by him because he's a nutcase. His love isn't even 'pure' by his own twisted measure because he loves multiple wives. Like his claims of being a good person and being respectful, they are just words to disguise his disgusting self. He keeps women not even a s*x slaves, but as tools to ensure his safety. They are his extra lives, ornaments to decorate his life with. Their pretty face being the only thing he needs or wants, since he despises them showing any emotion and probably talking as well.

I'd say the anime's wrong emphasis on appearance is also a bit of a translation issue. When Emilia asks why Regulus refers to his wives by number, he says "Fixated on names?" followed by「それって物事の外面にこだわるのと同じ...」which translates to "That's the same as fixating on the outer surface of things", to which a more natural english translation is "appearances". The problem is he doesn't mean appearance as in people, he means it as in "superficial layer" type deal. But because we know Regulus ONLY cares about appearance, the use of the word "appearance" seems like a direct reference to that, kinda looking like complete hypocrisy. It seems that translation is only in the Crunchyroll subbed, cuz in other websites like *redacted* where there's soft subs, the translation said "You would obsess so much over superficial things?" which is much better I feel.

He also works for a different royal candidate than Subaru, and his family is pretty fucked

This show is so silly to me. It's like throwing shit at a wall and and seeing if anything sticks, but you throw so much shit at the wall that you can't even see the wall underneath it anymore. You still know what each of those pieces looked like before they were thrown, but all mixed together you can no longer discern them. Basically, the show is a mess of random elements that obscures the underlying relevance of anything, and most of them are not individually very interesting to begin with, so I struggle to care about anything. This got worse as the show went on.

Don’t even compare my GOAT Subaru to Rent a Girlfriend. Subaru may be a flawed character but he is a great character. He struggles a lot with both his flaws and the various conflicts of the story but both are relevant to one another. Once Subaru has found his resolve to change himself into a better version of himself he offers everything he can to help everyone else. Subaru’s greatest strength(outside of RTB) is his will to never give up on trying to save everyone from a terrible fate. Despite him being a normal human facing off against impossible odds Subaru eventually finds a way to win without willing to sacrifice those that could be saved.
