Hey ladies, I have an amazing tea length 1950s dress a Brighton belle Lottie style dress. Problem is I have a short torso and really big boobs. The empire bust belt sits at my top of my belly button and the bust is soooooo high! Is there anything I can do? There is about 6cm between my empire waist and my actual body. It’s just almost that I’m too short and bust too high. I am 5’2 and about an America size 16.

Hi Aleisha, were you able to have the tea dress altered? From what you describe you may have to have the dress cut in two, altered to your size and reassembled.
