Thanks for pointing that out. I've discovered they're in fact 1/8 Czech, 1/8 Austrian, 1/8 British, 1/8 Chinese, 1/4 French and 1/4 Danish! (although the 1/4 Danish may in fact be 1/8 Danish and 1/8 Swedish) Quite an interesting mix.

I agree with you. Still I don't understand what went wrong with his 1st marriage to Alexandra. Regarding to the rules, any divorced man or woman, commoner or royal, can not marry again at church! Damn royals! Think they're gods on earth, so they can do whatever they want!? Are we back to the Tudors, and to King Henry viii?!

@@rutejack You seem to fail to recognize that this is Denmark, not Britain. Church of England- rules do not apply to Church of Denmark. in Denmark you can indeed marry again in a church if you are divorced, if the priest agrees. Commoners can - and of course royals can, too. However this wedding was a lot smaller than his first marriage, and this time it was not in Copenhagen. What went wrong in his first marriage? - Well Alexandra cheated on him with the man, she later married - and she is now divorced a second time.
