One setting I like is set ISO to the wheel on the back of the camera so when you rotate the wheel it changes your ISO but this is the only way to also keep the meter on the screen as you change ISO which I find really useful as any other way removes meter as you change your ISO

That is great tip! I used to work like that, but with A7R3 I found that the wheel just gets moved when I have my cameras hanging on my dual straps, so I completely disabled the wheel. On A7RIV and A9II the wheels feels like it has more resistance to it, so maybe it would work for me better with this cameras! Which one do you have?

@@MagicWeddingPhotographer I have the A7riii at the moment but I know what you mean about accidently moving the wheel which for me it has happened a few times but luckily I noticed it but mostly it's worked pretty good so far

Can i ask you , how do you get the point that you are enough good to be taking wedding photos and around what level that needed for it ? Or its technically just happen at a time and it will be okay or not.

@@Raspora I can only speak to my own experience, but in my case the most important thing that made me feel ready was researching what works for other successful wedding photographers and also feeling completely comfortable with my camera and its settings. As long as you set yourself up for success with your preparation, it should go smoothly! Watch lots of videos, take plenty of practice shots, and figure out where important settings are that you'll need to change quickly in different scenarios. If I could do it all over again, I would probably try to be a second shooter for another wedding photographer just to ease into it before I tried to shoot a wedding on my own. And just as an update, my first wedding shoot went smoothly and the couple loved their photos! Couldn't have done it without videos like this💪

good video magic, explained well :) the only thing I want to add is that in silent mode (a7iii, a7riii) beside banding people dealing with rolling shutter which makes this mode completely useless on these particular cameras. A9 and newer models read season quick enough

Hm... As far as the bending goes, I've never had this issue while in "Silent Shooting" mode. Have you tried switching to PAL vs NTSC? I'm an American stationed overseas in Italy so I immediately noticed issues with bending and lines in my shots while indoors because I had my settings at NTSC when I was under Italian/European lighting conditions. Once I switched to PAL, the lines were gone.

How do you import and organize the pictures when shooting 2 cameras in Lightroom? Thank you! have always had a problem when shooting 2 cameras (wide - tele ) and then organizing them in Lightroom, because, I want to have all of the pictures in the order they were taken so I can rate them and when exporting all of the pictures are going to be in order ; but Lightroom puts the ones with the wide angle first then the tele after all of those

probably want to talk in a separated video about the issues tha camera has, as a sony ambassador you should be aware... the focus point beign gray is hard to find on the screen all the time, the lcd screen is awful, delay while previewing a photo and start shooting again. awful colors on raw files and jpgs as well... white balance is not that good.... a lot of this issues could be fixed with a firmware but looks like Sony don´t listen to their customers....

Ah depending on what you need. You might take a look at my A9 II vs A1 video as I break down different needs in this video. If you need ultimate speed - AF speed, silent shooting - then A9 is a way to go. If you need megapixels - then R4.
