I love the brutal honesty. Thank you Craig for the clarity that is needed but not so often talked about. I have been watching you and your videos since I started doing weddings a couple months ago, and I really appreciate all the details you lay out for us during your shoots. Keep em coming bro! 🙌😎

This is the most useful film i've watched from you. You are right: follow your own creativity be positive about always learning (there really isn't a 'end' story unless you quit, of course, and always give the 51% in the relationship and get to know the couple really well. I am 51 and getting into it. Underwater, drone, business, wedding, real estate. I love the films you've made. Thank you.

the last point is spot on...I'm just starting and I kept looking at those who have been there and comparing their works to mine and felt bad about myself...It's a process, and mistakes are part of it...Now I realized, for sure they went through that process as well...

Serious question. Would 2019 Kraig Adams wear a white shirt with a white background? Things that make you go hmmm. 🤔
@TCGhits4 жыл бұрын
I believe this is still true today. All of this. So many of us pro’s worry about this and that but we forget about the little things. Why do we create this content? Why be a videographer or a photographer. Keep it 💯, stay humble don’t get cocky and be goal oriented. To the pro who needs to read this, you can do it.

Hey Kraig, I just wanted to say I really like this video, and found it to be very helpful. I am thankful for you sharing what you have learned in the past years. Everything you said applied to what I have been thinking lately, and it is relieving to hear advice on those thoughts I've had. I particularly liked when you said don't worry about what other people are doing, and that is not selfish. Anyways, keep up the great work! - Paul Harwood

+PaulHarwood856 Yes Paul. We're on the same team then. Time to make money and grow the business but give back. Create and develop your own style. Eyes on what's important but you need to discover what that is exactly first. Keep me updated on your progress brother. Thanks!!!!!!

Hello Kraig... Just wanted to drop you a note and say you're doing an EXCELLENT job! I just did my first wedding video (last weekend), and thanks to you (despite of gear-limitations) I thought that it was pretty decent. Just sent the couple (my cousin) a YT teaser but will give them a bluray disc with more footage (i.e. cake cutting, 1st dance, etc). Because of your videos, you have absolutely helped set expectations for me as a videographer (oops, i meant wedding filmmaker). While it's a given that you're quite competent in your craft, I would argue that the following intangibles make you a "must see" for any wedding filmmakers. I'm an engineer during the day, so humor me by reading my enumeration, below: #1) You DON'T project yourself. You don't have that "look at me, me, me" demeanor about you. You don't exude that narcissistic aura that is prevalent in YT videos or social media channels. And it's the same reason why I subscribe to MKBHD, and now to your channel. #2) You're quite candid. Pretty raw. You're not afraid of looking like a dork--hey that's cool man. I'm a dork too :-). #3) You're comments/suggestions are very sincere and are like pearls. From oversleeping during a wedding, an SD card going bad and faking the footage, to the confidence you exude while filming a wedding w/ a 1-man crew. These are just some of the things that have resonated. Keep up the great work, Stay the way you are, and don't change the approach that you've had. Thanks again for the videos! -- Q

My wedding business booked 20 this year early. The product is solid for my region. If my prices don't raise much, will the market stay consistent enough to go full time in the next couple years? I'm wondering what your experience has been. Is it always pretty consistent work?

What is the best Tripod for Weddings? We’ve gone through three Manfrotto tripods and each one has broken in one way or another . Just curious
@cameronglenn36567 жыл бұрын
Jacklynn Posada the heaviest tripod you can buy on amazon. I film just about everything and at the end of the day the heaviest and sturdiest tripod is the best tripod. If it's 80 bucks, you can go through 10 of them and still be cheaper than ONE lightweight brand name one. Take care of it, maybe WD40 it here and there and it will last plenty of time.

Hey bud, I'm a photography hobbyist. I've shot a few weddings (all being a second shooter) and would like to move to videography. when you say, keep making content, what is the 'content'?
@dansa33629 жыл бұрын
+IstoryangPagibig I believe he's talking about just making videos. If you don't have a wedding for a whole month, go out and shoot something with your friends, or for a commercial, music video, etc. If something doesn't turn out the way you wanted, that shouldn't discourage you from making more videos.
