Hey up fella, good to see you mate. Well I’ve been spending since your last video! New pcp and compressor! I think I mentioned on a few videos back that I have a hw100 in 177 which is a cracking bit of kit and my fourth in succession, if it ain’t broke eh! Anyhow I do have two springers in 22 which are the hw 97 and more recently another HW 95k to replace the one I regrettably sold. So I wanted another pcp in 22 but didn’t want to break the bank and after watching loads of videos and a recommendation from a mate who has one I’ve bought a Reximex Myth in black synthetic, I did like the walnut but at the end of the day it’s going to be a workhorse and that’s it and I’ve topped it with a Hawke airmax 4-12x40 So that should be arriving in the next 24hours. Then what has just arrived is my new wulf compressor, living where I do it’s a two hour round trip to get to my nearest place to get them filled and in winter driving over the North Yorkshire moors is something I’d rather avoid and with my spinal issues using a pump is out of the question so hopefully now I’ll be all set up and ready for this winters vermin action.

I’ve just had a comment on the pro sport video I did from a guy called Philip welsh saying are you a farmer and if so why are you using air rifles and that they are just 22 and 177 and useless over 40 yards! He got my back up a bit with me just replying to him to grow up, little does he know that my nephews school pal was killed by an airgun when he got his dad’s airgun to mess around with without permission and through lack of knowledge they shot him in the head because it was only an air rifle and wouldn’t hurt him!!! They kept him on life support for 24 hours so that his family could say goodbye, 14 yrs old. And when I get comments like that it really rattles me and I’ll bring this up on one of my future videos, some people are just clueless eh!

@PiperX1X I’m sorry to hear that mate I really am! People forget that they can be extremely dangerous your story proves that as fact! Take no notice of them mate let em crack on what I’ve found is a lot of it not most of the keyboard warriors do not creat content they just like to comment negatively on people who take the time to creat some positive content! Very sad really. Best thing to do is block ignore and move on mate that’s what I do! Like you I’m not here to argue with so called experts they would argue with them selves if they could.

@@Ratsinthereticles Exactly what I did, I haven’t got the time nor patience for them. But on the flip side it’s clowns like this who think airguns are just toys are the ones putting our hobby’s and interests and in some cases livelihoods, freedoms of choice at risk, and to be perfectly honest if the U.K. brought out licensing laws as Scotland have done its because of clowns like that, but hey ho he’s blocked now and hopefully the end of it! Some people eh. Anyhow the new toy arrived, got the scope mounted and I’ll possibly get it dialled in tomorrow, I’m quite impressed thus far.

Happy days mate stay positive and keep moving forward our little community dosent need it mate we all know the dangers of what we do but we’re all good people and know how to be safe as we possibly can when in the field or our gardens etc. very much looking forward to seeing you next video I’ve been watching your content but it makes me want to smoke a pipe mate and I think Mrs RITR would divorce me🤣 I love the smell of pipe tobacco my dad had a pipe years ago he would smoke some times even as a kid I loved the smell of it he would always smoke it when we were out bird watching in our local wood probably to keep the miji flys and gnats away. Good old days then I miss them a lot.
