I have always thought shawn Mendez relationship with Camilla was for PR. So his team labeled him as heterosexual at a young age and he may not agree with that. If he's not hetero, then going against the grain and being someone else authentically, would be hard. I empathize. Hollywood likes to label people's sexuality before the young person even comes to term with it themselves.
